FUN ACTIVITY FOR THE FAMILY

Even though we know late July is not an ideal whale watching time of the year, but we thought a nice day out on the water would be nice. Our captain went out of his way looking for whales and with his electronic fish finder or sonar he eventually found one. He also found a very entertaining pod of dolphins and they made the trip worthwhile so the whale was actually a bonus. We will do this again at a more appropriate time of year for whale migration.

A great time on the ocean

This was a great activity for families with kids. Seeing the blue whale was the highlight, and we watched it surface, swim, and dive several times. The one suggestion would be to have the driver not always direct the boat directly 'at' the whale - those of us who were not able to crowd up to the front of the boat had to look around and between everyone up front. Luckily the whale came up on the side of the boat once, allowing us a better look. Crew was pleasant and helpful.

Big family with toddlers

Super fun. Great staff on deck. Captain is detailed. Crew staff is accommodating. Spacious even for strollers. Comfortable seating. We got to see dolphins and whales with the captain giving us a description of the species with a historical background. Food concession is reasonable and good for both children and adults. I booked a few days before the actual date and got 40% off. Must see, highly recommended!

the boat was clean and the captain and crew were very informative on whales and other sea life. we were fortunate to see blue whales and dolphins on this Saturday afternoon trip. we will be back again.

This trip was well worth the money. We saw two grey whales and took some photos. The catamaran was very clean. Our guide/captain was extremely knowledgable about the whales and marine life in general. It was obvious when listening to his knowledge that he is passionate about his career in this area.
