1/2 Priced Catamaran Adventure Whale Watch Cruises

We saw tons of dolphins and two blue whales! It was a great time.

Larry and the other captain, sorry don't recall his name, were absolutely FANTASTIC!!! What a wonderful adventure! We saw whales, dolphins and sea lions. Great time!!

We saw three differant species. Common dolphin, bottlenose dolphin and blue whale.

I went with my wife and two boys, ages 9 and 12. We found the boat clean, on time and the crew very helpful. we went on a Tuesday afternoon 1/2 priced whale watching tour, but did not see any whales, but were not disappointed. We saw plenty of dolphins which were very cool to experience. They seemed to want to entertain us and did a great job. The boat was out to sea for about 2 hours which seemed to be the right amount of time to spend on the water.

I am a local and have seen thousands of dolphins in my lifetime, so I figured that the trip would be fairly disappointing if we didn't see any whales - I was wrong! We saw hundreds of dolphins, and they really put a show on for us. The boat itself was quite nice; clean, large enough to easily accommodate the entire passenger load, and with a decent snack bar. 2-hours was long enough to get well outside the harbor and enjoy the sites. Everyone in my group had a great time, and I would highly recommend this activity! Especially on Tuesdays, when it is half priced :)

Call me spoiled but I have been out on another Whale Watch from Dana Point several times but the 1/2 price offer seemed a bargain and so I signed up. No comparison!! I went out with the other company Friday paid full price and had a wonderful time. Sorry, but I will not be returning as I felt they were more concerned with providing the minimum than providing a fun outting.

Excellent experience.We did not see any whales on this trip. We found a pod of several hundred dolphins and it was fantanstic! We spent a good hour with the dolphins as they do like to play by the boat. We also a rare sun fish near the surface. This was worth everything and was a wonderful day on the water. Boat and crew were wonderful.

This was my 2nd whale watching trip with Dana Sportfishing, and for the 2nd time I was not disappointed. We didn't see any whales this time (on my 1st trip we saw a humpback whale - amazing!) but we saw an enormous sunfish & a large pod of hundreds of dolphins. The Dana Sportfishing crew definitely knows how to find ocean life for passengers to enjoy. The catamaran was clean & not crowded with plenty of sitting & viewing room for all on board. I completely recommend this trip & will definitely be going again myself.

We spent an hour in the center of a pod of 300 or so Common Dolphins and let me tell you there was nothing "Common" about the experience. What a spectacular and refreshing 2 hours! I'm considering doing this at least once a month :)
