The crew was extremely helpful, I had 2 completely inexperienced fisherman from Utah with me and I only helped them once. Stupid questions were handled tactfully and it was an all around great experience for these first timers. The fishing was great with Bonita all but jumping in to the boat. A great time was had by all. I would highly recommend to novice as well as experienced fisherman. What a blast.

Poor Winter-type fishing

Just hit a bad day, I guess. I usually have good luck with Dana Wharf Sportfishing, but this day was bad - only a couple of sculpin caught for the whole boat, and my group caught one small rockfish between the four of us. Frustrating morning all around.

Fun Day
Fri, May 2  10:00 AM elainetan1 Female 40-49 Local Couple on a Date
Haven't been on a boat in a year and this was fun. Lots of activity on the boat. About 25 fish in all were caught among all anglers. Many more were released or lost while reeling in. Crew of the Clementine was really helpful and friendly. Seeing whales was an added bonus. Looking forward to another trip.

Crew makes a poor fishing day OK
Wed, Apr 30  10:00 AM zapata007 Male 40-49 Local Individual
The day was drizzling and overcast. The ocean seemed a little choppy. The captain and the crew picked to good spots for us to cast our lines. Most of the anglers were getting several bites. Most of the fish were too small to keep. However, most of the bites were calico and sand bass. The crew was very helpful. A handful of us were not very good at fishing but the crew was good at helping anglers who blew out the reels or tangled their lines. All in all it was a good day.

Great Trip

Not too many fish because of the cold water temp at the time, but a great single perch to take home and eat. We really enjoyed the galley service and look forward to our next time out.

Father and Son Trip

Just wanted to hang out with my 13 year old boy for the day and have some fun. My son Joshua caught a 26" Halibut and won the jackpot. Every one on board was amazed. The crew and captain were great, very helpful and courteous. My son had a great time and was very excited. We will be back soon.

Crew Members Are Great

The crew members were great and helpful. Disappointed because almost everyone came back empty handed. Are there any fish left in the ocean?

I was not a happy fisherman!!
Thu, Apr 17  10:00 AM DianaOakley Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
Beginning with front desk to "sign in" and get my tickets...find out info and purchase fishing licenses/rods and tackle.........."gentleman was unfriendly and rude........answers to queries were curt and not well explained ! Boat crew was preoccupied and not at all helpful....we were repeatedly asked for our "number"...and we were NEVER told our "number"!! Having fished many times..I KNOW they are not always "biting" so NO complaint about that............but bait was not easily accessed.......and there was no contact with crew except for the fellow running the 'galley.' I would not go on this excursion again..
