We all had fun. Howver, the guys assisting the group, didn't appear to have to much patience. They also made us feel like we were bothering them when we had a problem. I brought my 10 year old son, and they didn;t do much to help him or explain anything about what to do or how to do it. They also didn't help my wife very much. None of us had ever been deep-sea fishing and told them that. But it didn't appear to make any difference. The food, burgers, was actually very good. |

I always like fishing with the crew from Dana Sports Fishing! They do an excellent job and are the best in the area.....I could easily go north and use a different charter company but the crew on the Dana Wharf boats are much more helpful.....so I make a longer drive to fish with them. The only drawback on this recent trip is a packed boat....don't like it when it is full and only have two crew to help. |

I took my 4 grandkids from Seattle. (ages 12-16). The first spot had minimal fish, then the captain moved the boat and it was GREAT FISHING. The kids had a phenomenal time and I am nominated for Grand Parent of the Year. The deck hands were right there when we needed them everything from tangled lines to taking the fish off. THEY made it truly enjoyable. |

You can't be sure about the number of fish you will catch but you can be sure that's the only uncertainty. Here's what I expect when I'm taking personal time off with the family:
1. All of the planning, arranging and logistics are easy.
2. No "bait and switch" (no pun intended).
3. Staff are knowledgeable and pleasant.
4. Execution is timely and efficient.
When that happens – if you don’t have a good time it’s your own fault!

We had a wonderful time on the fishing boat. This was our first time on an ocean fishing boat. Everyone we talked to at Dana Wharf were friendly and understanding to our complete lack of knowledge. Unfortunately we dident catch any fish but the kids had a great time and so did my wife and I. Thanks for the good time |

There were six of us that went and 4 were children that have never caught a fish before so we were hoping that they would get a chance to catch something , but unforunately the fishing was not very good that day and only one of the Kids caught anything, oh well ,better luck next time. |

If your looking for some fun that's under $100 per person. This is a great event. I had never been ocean fishing and wanted to try it, my frieands also. We had a great time caught a couple of fish, tried something new. The people and crew were wonderful. The boat was full, but still comfortable space for every one. I would not take my ACTIVE 12yr old on this adventure she would be bored. I'll do this again. Hopefully on a long run next time. |

Now I know why its called a cattle boat. We were packed in like sardines. I was with 3 boys and could not find 4 spots to accommodate us. Way too crowded, even at 1/2 price on Tuesdays, it wasn't worth the drive. To add insult to injury, very slow day fishing. |
