| Wow this was a 1/2 day I will never get back. If you are thinking about deep sea fishing I would look elsewhere. This is basically bait fishing with 40+ people crammed together on a boat standing for 4 hours. It is cheap but you get what you pay for. They give you rods/reels that can handle 20 pound fish but the largest our group caught was 20 inches. I catch trout bigger than that on 4lb test! Just don't go out thinking you are going to catch big ocean fish we caught nothing but sand bass and most of them were in the 10-15 inch range not what I expected from the ocean. |

| Friendly, helpful crew made the fishing enjoyable. We caught enough fish for dinner without landing anything very large. It was winter fishing and we were satisfied with the day. Equipment rented was fine and bait supplied did the tick. |

| I had to remind myself it was the off season, not a lot of fish were caught. The water was cold and it was the day after a rain storm. However, the crew was friendly and helpful, the boat wasn't crowded and it was a beautiful day, so why complain. I would suggest the crew place the bait knife out of the reach of children as 4 kids that had been "dumped" by mom were playing with everything in sight. |

| Crew and Captain was great and helpful.
Ended up fishing 3 or 4 different spots with only a few fish catching live mackeral on cut squid.
Pelican's were a pest!
Weather and water was perfect conditions, but fish were not biting. If I visit the area again (from N. Cali) I will definetely use this charter again.

| Fortunately we went out the day after the Superbowl and there were only nine anglers with two crewmen. Had lots of space to fish, the crew were the best, and the fishing was excellent. Had a great time. Didn't waste time where there were few fish and they found good spots. Thanks for a wonderful day..... |

| I thought the crew was great! Very friendly. I'm not sure if it was because there were only 12 people on the boat so it was an easier crowd to manage, but they were so alert whenever I caught a fish and they would help me out. Or when my line got tangled, it got resolved right away. Thanks! |

| All in all, an interesting experience. For me, it was my first time fishing, so it was exciting to learn how to fish and to catch my first fish. Fishing was in general a bit slow, but that was probably due to factors beyond the crew's control, such as the season, the reality of over-fishing, and the necessary relative proximity to shore.
The crew was generally quite helpful, assisting customers in taking in and preparing their caught fish and informing customers about the various fish they caught. It was also good to know that they used radar to detect schools of fish so as to enhance the chances that we could catch some.
One note: if you happen to catch any mackerel, which is fairly likely since they are quite a common fish, they will most likely tel you that it is a no-good fish. However, there are plenty of recipes online of how best to cook mackerel and I must say, it is actually a very tasty fish, and fairly healthy as well! High in Protein and Omega 3 fatty acids. So keep any mackerel you may catch! |

| This was a great experience for us. We had never gone fishing before and it was so easy. Crew members were friendly, outgoing, and helpful. They made sure to come around often. |
