We have not done the twilight trip in years. However, because of time constraints, we reluctantly booked the twilight trip instead of a morning or afternoon trip. It was one of the best trips I have ever taken. The boat was uncrowded, the crew was helpful, and we caught fish from almost immediately and kept on catching until it was time to leave. Highly recommended.

This is the second year my son and I have enjoyed a half-day fishing experience with Dana Wharf Sportfishing. Once again, we had the time of our lives! The crew was so helpful ... and patient (I kept getting my line tangled in the reel)! They found a great spot to anchor so we would have the optimum opportunity to catch lots of fish. There were guests with little or no experience (like me) and those who fish almost daily who were friendly and also very helpful. Great way to spend the 4th of July!

my 11 y.o. identical twin sons and I had a great time. Loved the Sun. noon kids fishing class prior to 12:45 pm departure. we'll be back . . . .. . hopefully sooner than later. didn't catch any fish to take home (caught & released bonito) but a lot of activity, including a dolphin eating the bait & the catch on the line!

Unexperienced Captain

They were training a new Captain, but were not in the wheel house to provide proper guidance or instruction. He had problems setting up around the kelp beds...and the experienced Captain was more interested in trying to fishing.

DanaWharf 1/2 Day Fishing Trip

There were 4 of us. Myself (54), my dad (80) and my 2 sons (19) (21). The customer service at Zerve were easy to deal with and made the reservation process seamless. We had a great day of fishing off Dana Point Harbor. The crew on the boat were very helpful in handling the fish caught and answering all questions we had. I would highly recommend Zerve and DanaWarf Harbor for a fun day on the ocean.

We had a great time even though the fishing was a little slow, my future daughter-in-law caught a 25 inch halibut, which won the pool. She was so thrilled that she caught it and my son and I didn't catch anything worth keeping. It was fun for us all. For a family outing would recommend this trip to all.
