| Two 48 year old women and a 15 year old teenage girl. The teenage girl got very seasick despite taking bromine beforehand. That's just her... A 5 hour time gets tiring to have to stand the entire time.
Great bait, good fishing spots and some good fish for all. I caught and released.
The crew were very helpful for those who had never sea fished before. |

| First off , the tangled mess was especially frustrating. To add to that no one knew what do do in the event of a tangled mess besides the deckhand. Second , the capatain of the "Clemente" drove us away from a spot where the the fish could be seen from the deck. Some people were even hooked up as we were pulling away. We then drove to a second spot that was right near the barges parked just south of the San Clemente Pier. That spot was horrible. No bites , nibbles , nothing , by anyone that i could see. We then drove to a third spot that was just as bad as the previously mentioned one. Then , to top off the frustration , the over qualified captain (I'm saying that very saurcasticly) drove us back to the original spot where we then fished for about 15-20 min. or so then called it a day and drove back to port. Idon't recomend the 1/2 dat trip to anyone that likes to fish. And I won't be giving them any more of my business or recomending them to my friends / family. |

| The experience on the ocean was much enjoyed. It was fun doing catch and release for the mackeral we caught and a nice day just to relax. However, for serious fishermen, the opportunity to catch the big fish (durado, yellowtail) was not there. |

| The price was great. The fishing wasn't good on the day I went. I only caught two tiny Sculpin. The boat was way too crowded. I would not suggest going on 1/2 price Tuesdays. |

| I went out on the slowest day I've ever seen, but I still had a good time. Dana Wharf generously gave 10% off people's next trip due to the slow fishing, which they didn't need to do, but was definitely appreciated.
The deck hands were friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. |

| This trip was with my son and his son. All were first timers on a commercial sport fishing boat. We rented poles. It seems the most success by others was with spoons or lures. The live anchovies were mainly eaten by the seals and pelicans. A suggestion to those renting equipment that maybe different types of bait (lures, etc.) might increase the catching would be appreciated. After all, persons renting equipment must be novices otherwise they would already have what is needed.
The boat was fine, very clean and the galley and prepared breakfast sandwiches were very good and reasonably priced, which is appreciated. We enjoyed the experience and will do it again. But first I will need to get my own lures etc.
The crew was fine and provided help when asked. |

| My wife and I had a great time on the Dana Pride! The crew was exceptional. We were treated very nicely. We were impressed by the boat being very clean. The bathrooms were spacious, private, and clean. The crew scrubbed the boat immediately, after the expedition. Even the outside of the boat! This was a first time fishing trip for my wife, and she had a lot of fun! Again, the crew, catered to our every need, and we recommend the Dana Pride for all ages. We went in the morning, 1/2 day, and it was very pleasant.
Thank you to the crew on the boat, great bunch of guys!

| The trip was great, the crew was wonderful. The boat seemed small but maybe it's because it was very crowded. The fishing was good, it could have been great if not for all the line tangles that completely overwhelm the crew. I took my wife and my 11yr old twins and as can probably emagine i spent all of my time untangling them from everyone that got tangled with them. Other them that it was a really good and fun day. |
