Very Crowded no enough help

| I have been taking these trips for several years and I do have to say that is was not one of my favorites. The boat was too crowded so crowded that people had no spots to fish and the deckhands had to make people move to allow others to fish. On many trips the captain has the people on the boat move around so everyone can fish in different parts of the boat this did not happen until two of us were overheard talking about it and then it was only one movement. Then one of the deckhands stood over the bait tank constantly chumming the water and hitting me in the head with fish! My son helped several people with their fish because he did not get down and help them with tangled lines and bringing in fish.
I am careful what I bring on the boat because I know the rules, however there were people that brought coolers with beer in them and the people that were smoking was awful.
It seemed like there were not enough deck hands to handle the numbers.
I am not sure that I want to try this again anytime soon unless I go on a different day. |

| Although I've lived in Dana Point most of my life, I had never gone fishing before. Since we had some friends in from out of town, we thought it might be fun to go fishing.
Positive:
- Alcohol and food served in the galley
- Clean boat
- Boat goes to where the fish are biting
- Fun times with so many people on the boat (lots going on)
Negative:
-Absolutely NO instruction for first timers
-Lots of people on the boat (100)
-Can't sit while fishing
-1st 40 mins of trip is spent getting bait
-Hard to maneuver around boat - especially with so many people on boat |

| I had a great time fishing with Dana Wharf. The barracuda were hot. Between my father, nephew and me we caught five all at least 8lbs plus and those fish are pretty good fighters! I highly recommend. |

| We participated in a half day outing. Our Zerve reservations were perfect. They checked us in quickly and easily at Dana Wharf. Once on the boat the crew was super helpful! My husband even won the jackpot and this was his first time fishing.
The smell of the hamburgers from the galley were to die for! We had a great time! |

| This was great i took my dad out for fathers day..and he loved it..we caught like 20 fish and we did it once before but we caught giant squid then we will defiantly be back.

| It is not exactly deep sea fishing but still a lot of fun. We mostly fished in waters between 30-50 feet deep. Most of the fish caught were bottom feeders. Not a lot of keepers. It is a great way to spend quality time with your family with a minimum of work on your own part. The helpers on the boat were available to do most of the hard work. However, baiting the hook with a live sardine was a challenge. They did have pieces of squid which made it easier for the squeemish. A lot of standing up. Plus, the boat did not have a lot of room to walk around so you are pretty much stuck in one place. Overall it was a lot of fun and a great way to see the coast line of California. |
