1/2 Day and Twilight Fishing Trips

we were out for 5 hours. i understand that some may not catch fish but my wife won the jack pot w a 12 inch red snapper she caught 3 of the 9 fish caught that day. a boat full of 42 people which half were sick and puking all over the place and the other half including me spent the 5 hours pissed there was not even a bite. it was only made okay because my wife won the jack pot which should of never happened. the boat food was okay nothing special and the weather was perfect . I love deep sea fishing and i will be going again im just going to go further south to San Diego

awesome deckhands, nice gear to rent, skipper obvioulsy knew where the fish were, everyone on the boat was catching, deckhands would take care of everything, measure and toss back if it was under size, cool lil contest at the end, for the largest fish, and they will clean your catch for a dollar a fish. great day on a great boat with great people, and damn the fish were TASTY!

The check in process for me was the biggest time saver. There were no hassles.

I haven't fished for 30 years. The crew was great -- very helpful (plus good food and drinks at low prices).

The boat was clean and in good order. I haven't been aboard a Dana boat for some time and was less then thrilled to see the Capt. But I was thrilled to see that there has been some changes in the way boats are run and the crew were really helpful. Had a great time caught a load of fish!! The only problem was that the regulars on the boat seemed a little rude, and it seemed that they we catered to just a tad! but all in all great time and good fishing!! Thanks for the trip I should be back again.....

We all had an enjoyable time on the trip. Our only compliant was that it was a little bit crowded.

There were too many anglers on board. Lines got tango up all the times. The rental equipements were poorly maintain and didn't work. People just grab others rental rod at the end of the trip made me had to find one rented by another person. There weren't big fish for that trip. It's very disappointing trip.

I'd strongly advise you to ask if the birds are as aggressive (and numerous) as it was when we went! We spent more than half the time on the boat cutting and reconnecting weights and hooks to our lines because the pelicans were either eating the bait while casting out or getting tangled on the line while it was in the water. It was actually a bit miserable. Not to mention we caught very few fish. This was my fathers day present for my dad, and I felt terrible that it didn't have any great memories other than just being able to spend some time together tying knots!

Trip was pleasant , the crew were extraordinary helpful!!!
