| My son and I decided to go fishing, we decided to go to DanaPoint. The weather didn't cooperate, but the captain was trying his best to give the patroons a good trip, but decided it would be better to come in earlier. The company offered a half off offer on another trip. Since the weather is a very influential part on a sea trip, this was a very good and fair choice. The next time, I want to go on a trip like this, I definately will keep them in mind. |

| I brought my 13 year old son with me and we really had a great time, the crew was very helpful and always ready to lend a hand if lines got tangled and always there when a fish was landed to put it in the proper gunny sack. They even quickly
re-rigged my son's line when it needed to be cut due to major tangles. I would highly reccomend Dana Wharf for day fishing. |

| Everybody was very friendly. The trip was casual and fun. The staff felt like they were apart of the group rather than staff working for a paycheck. I am planning to bring my brother and his kids next time during the summer. |

| Went on the 1/2 day fishing boat Sum Fun. There must have been 40 anglers and only 5 fish caught. The skipper did not put us on any fish. We fished the same kelp bed twice. I would not recommend this fishing outfit. |

| The day was drizzling and overcast. The ocean seemed a little choppy. The captain and the crew picked to good spots for us to cast our lines. Most of the anglers were getting several bites. Most of the fish were too small to keep. However, most of the bites were calico and sand bass. The crew was very helpful. A handful of us were not very good at fishing but the crew was good at helping anglers who blew out the reels or tangled their lines. All in all it was a good day. |

| Weather was cool with a slite overcast, but burned off on the way home.
The crowd had many school age kids for it was summer, but they were delightful.
Boat was full, but we managed. Fishing started off very slow, then after many stops to find them biteing on our last stop on our way home. This made the whole trip worth wile.
I'm going again soon.

| The whole boat wasn't catching no fish. I don't know if it's the captain not knowing where to go or the weather but we didn't catch any fish. |

| It's always a pleasure to go out on the Twighlight trip with Dana Wharf Sportfishing. 4 hours is a perfect amount of time with children and/or folks trying out fishing for the first time. It's short enough that if it's not working out or you're getting seasick you'll be back soon enough but it's long enough to get some real fishing done. I've done this trip several times now (I think that this was my fourth) and for the first time my son fished the entire time instead of playing with the bait fish in the bait tank for the last part of the trip. He was a fisherman instead of a fisherman's son. We'll be thinking about a longer trip now but will still go out on this once in a while with newbies. The crew is great. The galley is great. You don't have to get up early in the morning to go. I recommend it. |

| I fish down at Dana Point jetty all the time and catch a lot more. I only caught one fish the whole time, as did my friends. For the money, it wasn't worth it. |

| From leaving the dock, to returning our needs were met. The crew was right there for advice, helping to untangle lines and take fish off the hooks. The Capton did all he could by taking us from spot to spot to find fish that would cooperate and bite.
The Galley was good, and the food also good.
I will be back out when the time allows it for me. I will recommend the trip to anyone wanting a great fishing experience. A great day for the kids also. |
