This was the highlight of my trip! Dana Wharf is located in a very quiant town and was clean and very well kept. From the moment we bought our tickets, the staff was friendly and very helpful. We bought our tickets early, so we enjoyed a cafe within walking distance before boarding the boat.
Once we boarded, we left promptly, and all of the crew members were very enthusiastic and polite. The guide was very knowledgable on the different animals and migratory patterns, etc.
We did not see any whales, BUT we did see somewhere between 2000-3000 dolphins! It was incredible! We rode with their pod for nearly an hour as they played with the waves off of our boat. It was absolutely beautiful.
I would highly recommend this trip to anyone. It would be great for families or a group of friends, or even a date! Just remember to bring a light sweater and sunblock! |

Staff was very nice, Took us way out of the way, and out a little longer to show us some very cool dolphin. Would do it again in a heart beat. |

We had a great time on the Whale Watching excursion even though we didn't see any whales. We did see A LOT of dolphins and sea lions which made it worth it! The only thing I didn't like was that we had to stand and didn't have any where to sit. Other than that it was great! |

Captain went out of his way to ensure that we saw marine life even though it meant that the boat returned a little late. Did not see any whales but several pods of dolphins and the boat was manuevered to be right in the middle! |

There were no whales which I know can't be controlled... the Captain did keep us out extra long (we were the last boat) because he was determined to find dolphins. He did. We ran into a mega pod of dolphins which was nice. But it leaves me to wonder if it was only so we wouldn't get free tickets to come back. There wasn't much information given on anything. I may try someone else next time. |

We didn't see any whales or anything for that matter but I received a "rain check" ticket for a free ride in the future which I thought was great. |

I know it was not your fault there were no whales but it was extremly boring when there was NOTHING to see at all. At least you gave out vouchers to try again. I noticed several people throwing their vouchers away. Guess they were not intereseted on going again even for free. |

This was the first time my 10 and 12 year old nieces were on a boat and it was great. It was a beautiful day and we all enjoyed being out on the water. Realizing there are no guarantees, we were hoping to see a whale or, at the least, some dolphins, but there were none. Our captain was very good and took us to see the sea lions, which was was good for the kids. We did receive rainchecks, so no problem. We will go again. I hear the whales are still in Mexico, so perhaps in a few weeks they will be ehaded this way. |

The day was beautiful and the boat ride was nice -- we were supposed to be whale watching, but really it ended up being a 2 hour harbor cruise with no marine life and a nice time for my friend and I to chat and catch up for 2 hours. There really weren't any announcements or education about whales or anything like that, but I didn't expect a whole lot for the price, so I guess I got what I was expecting. They did give us a coupon to ride again for free since we didn't see anything, which was nice. |
