Nice boat trip

| We did not see any whales, but did see dolphins and sea lions. The day was beautiful and the trip was a fun two hours in spite of the lack of whales. |

| Have been using this service for over 20 years and even though may not see whales, it is a wonderful outdoor activity. Very professional. |

| This is the second time I have gone whale watching with them. I loved it the first time. We saw only dolphins and no whales (Jan 2008). The same this year (Jan 2009). The difference was that in 2008 they turned the boat in tight circles to make large waves. This made the dolphin pod we were watching jump and leap high in the waves a lot. It was really fun to watch. They did not do this on our 2009 trip and it was very disappointing.
They crew is great! The boat is clean and nice. They offer a great 1/2 price rate on Tuesdays.
If you want to have a good chance of seeing whales, go in the peak of migration season. |

| We enjoyed the boat ride but saw only a few dolphins and no whale. As we took the whale watching and were wanting to see whales, of course we were disappointed.
We did this trip 5 or 6 years ago and although we again did not see whales, we ran into a large group of dolphins jumping up and running along side he boat for almost a 1/2 hour. |

| The crew was very friendly. The boat was large and clean with plenty of places to sit and view the water.
I would have hoped for a little more information on the marine life via the man on the PA but the relative quiet was nice too.
If the boat were smaller, I think it would have been possible to get a little closer to the whales and not disturb them.
It was a nice couple hours on the water and the bloody mary was great. |
