| We showed up 30 minutes early and sat on the wharf after trading our voucher for tickets. Right on time, the crew showed and started loading. We saw many small whales and dolphins and met several interesting people. The cost of refreshments was surprisingly low and the crew was very informative. We got back as the sun was going down and the temperature dropped, but not to where I needed my jacket. The whale excursion made for a great start to a fantastic vacation. |

| The weather resulted in choppy waves so if you happen to get splashed upon and then have to deal with the wind, it can be cold, wet, and miserable roller coaster of a ride as we witnessed others suffering during the outing.
Everything else worked out great. No whales this trip, but plenty of other marine life was viewed out in the wild. The evening outing allowed for a beautiful sunset view on the return. Will do it again during the gray whale season. |

| The trip itself was terrific. The crew took good care of us, and they were very knowledgeable about ocean life. We didn't see any whales or dolphin (maybe those are more difficult to find on the evening sailing), so they gave us all coupons for a future ride. I had been out with this company before when we located and followed a super pod of dolphins; it really depends on luck and timing. The only reason I gave it 4 star instead of 5 was the scheduling difficulties. Our first trip was cancelled because they changed their schedule, then our second trip was cancelled due to weather concerns and not enough spots reserved. They handled it all very professionally, but it made the lack of seeing whales a little more disappointing. |

| The trip was cancelled after spending only 30 min on the water. They would not give us our money back. They only gave us a voucher. I can't go back because I am leaving the state. I wasted $30! |

| We knew this time of year we probably wouldn't be seeing any whales but we were very excited to see the huuge pod of dolphins! It was awesome. The ride was very nice. The captain seemed to know alot about .....well, everything:) He knew a little history and provided us with some info on the sea life. My seven year old was very interested in learning more. I'd definetly like to go again. Maybe during whale season next. |

| It was a great day at sea! We went on the 5pm trip and saw dolphins and sea lions. We didn't see any blue whales, but the trip was still awesome because it is well worth just the boat ride alone. You can move around the boat at your leisure (we were on the Sum Fun and it was not crowded) and if you stand at the bow you can get splashed with water. I would go back for a gray whale expedition in the winter.
I would highly recommend this trip for vacationers and locals alike. We could see Saddleback Mountain. The only area for improvement might be for the Captain and Skipper to give more information on points of interest along the shoreline as the boat heads back to shore. |

| It was fantastic!! The boat ride was wonderful as was the crew. We were able to see 2 different types of dolphins and sea lions. Even though we didn't see any whales it didn't matter. The dolphins put on a great show!! The whole trip was relaxing and exciting. I would totally recommend this trip to anyone and can't wait to go again. |
