We didn't see any whales. We didn't really know what to watch for really. But we were out there on a beautiful day and had a great time even without the whales. DanaPoint is a very romantic place to visit and the whale watching tour with or without whales is very romantic too. Thanks Dana Wharf! |

It would have been more fun to see a whale. But the playful dolphins made up for the disappointment of no whales. |

Unfortunately, we didn't see whales or dolphins. Even though not guaranteed, the crew gave us coupons for $10/per for future ticket purchases. Very nice, and we intend to use them during the Grey whale season. We did enjoy the boat ride in spite of the lack of sightings. |

There were lots of dolphins but no whales to be seen; we spent about an hour with the dolphins which lost the allure after about 15 minutes. |

Greatly enjoyed this excursion. The crew were very knowledgable and interactive. No whales, but the dolphins were more than worth the trip. |

WHALE WATCHING HAS ALWAYS BEEN A DREAM OF MINE AND YOU MADE MY DREAM COME TRUE. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING. THE ONLY REGRET I HAVE IS THAT I WASN'T ABLE TO SPEND MORE TIME WATCHNG. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE.

My husband and I spent the day in California for our one year anniversary. We wanted to go on a whale watching excursion on our honeymoon but were unable to. We had the best time. The weather was a bit cool so I would highly recommend taking a light jacket but other than the chilly weather it was outstanding. We were able to relax on the boat a bit and get some great pictures of the whales. Seeing the whales was breathtaking. The staff knew what to look for and let the passangers know where to look when they spotted a whale. I would recommend this activity to anyone. |

I wish the guide had given us more information and it would've been great if we had actually seen whales but the dolphins were amazing! |

It was so much fun -- from the greeting by the staff, to the captain's whale expertise, to the dolphins showing off alongside the boat -- all wonderful. Best of all, of course, were the wonderful HUGE blue whales. A truly wonderful day! |
