Our family had a great time. We went to seaworld the previous day and were looking forward to seeing sealife in their natural habitat. We were in the water about 20 minutes when we ran into a huge pod of common dolphins. We saw pods of risso and more common dolphins. It was amazing watching the dolphins swim all around the boat. We were down on the front deck and could see the dolphins racing on the side and crossing the boats front bow. We were hoping to see the blue whale but no such luck. On the way back there was a beautiful view of the coastline and sailboats. We did a lot of different things on our vacation but the ocean cruise was the most entertaining.

There were 3 adults and a 4 year old in our party and everyone enjoyed themselves. We did the evening Whale Watching tour and sat up top of the Dana Pride. The crew really worked hard to find marine life for us. While we did not see any whales, nor had we expected to given we were there at the end of June, we did see a couple different types of dolphins. They swam right next to the boat and were fun to watch. The weather was great and we would do this again.

The trip was awesome. We saw so many dolphins swimming freely in the ocean. We saw a couple of sea lions. We didn't see any whales but it wasn't guarenteed that we would. I would highly recommend this activity. Quick tip though bring layers for clothing just incase it's windy.

The boat was really nice and the people were great. We were able to see some sea lions and a huge pod of dolphins. It was an incredible sight to see and I would definately recommend it to anyone. The boat however was very rocky so if you are a person that gets sea sick at all - you either may want to rethink or take precautions.

The staff was very accomodating. Demonstrated pretty good knowledge of the area and the wildlife. Very enjoyable, but did not like that alcohol was served on board.

The boat was simple and stable, good job of finding and following dolphin pods, had a difficult time understanding the comments of the captain over the speaker. Will go again in whale season.

Couple on a Date |
My date and I didn't get to see any whales, but we caught site of common dolphins, bottle-nosed dolphins, and some sea lions. They followed our boat and were such darlings! The sea lions had babies sleeping on their back and were so cute! The weather was great but got windy once we went out into the ocean, the boat bobbed up and down and threw us side-to-side, it was pretty thrilling for me, but I dont recommend it for those with seasickness. At a time, there was about 10-15 of us on board, so not overly-crowded at all, romantic because u get to stand and cuddle with ur companion, feeling relaxed and away from the city once in a while. So I'd say, give it a try!!!

We saw an amazing pod of killer whales on the voyage! The crew was so excited and truly related this excitement to the whale watchers. We "played" with the whales for over an hour. We also saw sea lions, dolphins, and a large yellow sun fish. The boat was large, clean and had plenty of seating or standing room for all. The rate for this activity is bargain basement low! Don't be fooled by the reasonable rates- this whale watching voyage could prove to be the adventure of a lifetime! I would reccomend this for familes with small children, business groups and seniors. Very landlubber friendly! Thanks to Capt. Tom and his crew!
