The staff were friendly, but we only saw one whale, and barely even saw one at that, he was really hard to spot. Nonetheless, that fulfilled the guarantee of seeing a whale, so we didn't get another trip. I think they need to make the tours longer than two hours to give more time for looking for whales. Two hours is not long enough. My nieces and myself were very disappointed.

We were under the impression from our limited research and the advertisments that we would see whales. We didn't see any. We did see dolphins, and the Captain was very knowledgable about the marine life.

we went out on a cold and windy day. Unfortunately we didn't spot any whales. The trip was fun though - and we got a pass to come back again for free. The boat was nice and well-maintained - and the crew seemed very professional. Our only suggestion is that there could have been more commentary during the trip. No one said anything from when we left until we got back. I'm only assuming they would have said something if we had seen a whale.

We decided to do this on the spur of the moment. We didn't have luck in finding either dolphins or whales, but the management was nice enough to give us a free return visit and also 10% Off coupons for up to 8 more tickets. Overall it was a nice boat ride in the ocean on a beautiful Southern California Day.

Great cruise on the boat! Saw Dolphins and Sea Lions, but no whales, as it was a bit early. Can't wait to come back to see them!

The boat was OK, but some chairs or places to sit on the deck would have been nice. We tried to sit downstairs but could not see through the windows and could not hear the loudspeaker. We enjoyed seeing a few sea lions and a pod of dolphins, but really disappointed not to see a whale. We had read in the promotion that this was an especially good time to see blue whates, but when checked in, we were told they hadn't seen a whale in a week. Crew was courteous, and we didn't have any problems with the tour.

The trip started on time, the crew were friendly and helpful, the day was beautiful, seas were clam, and the food was good (thank heavens that we don't ever get sea sick). We didn't get to see any whales but it's only the beginning of one season and the ending of another, but the Captain found a large pod of dolphins and took us to the center and we got to enjoy their play (sometimes right under the bow of the ship)...what a wonderful experience. The Captain also educated us about what we encountered along the way. Thanks much.
