| The weather was a bit overcast with intermittent sunshine. We left the wharf on time and headed out to "sea." Shortly, the narrator spotted dolphins that swam along with the boat - underneath to the other side, right along and out in front. There were "oohs" and "aahs" watching these wondeful creatures. After a while, we headed to a marker and saw "resident" sea lions baksing ini the sun. Then way off a bit north, there was a spray and it was a gray whale. We followed it for some time watching as it came to the surface and then disappeared only to come up a while further on its path south. We were able to get good pictures, too. We had an 11 and a 10 year old [boys] with us and they had a great time, too. |

| The cruise was enjoyable; it was nice to see the California coast from the ocean.
As we got on the boat, I overheard one of the staff members mention that they had only seen one whale this season. (I don't know when their 'season' starts.) Of course, they have no control over whether they will see any animals, but it's probably good for people to book the cruise and just relax and enjoy the ride with little expectation of seeing anything.
We saw a number of sea lions, but no whales or dolphins.
Wear warm clothing!! Enjoy! |

| The whale watching experience was fun. The crew were very nice and made sure that everyone had a chance to see a whale or dolphin. They also point out things of interest. |

| The staff were friendly, but we only saw one whale, and barely even saw one at that, he was really hard to spot. Nonetheless, that fulfilled the guarantee of seeing a whale, so we didn't get another trip. I think they need to make the tours longer than two hours to give more time for looking for whales. Two hours is not long enough. My nieces and myself were very disappointed. |

| We were under the impression from our limited research and the advertisments that we would see whales. We didn't see any. We did see dolphins, and the Captain was very knowledgable about the marine life. |

| we went out on a cold and windy day. Unfortunately we didn't spot any whales. The trip was fun though - and we got a pass to come back again for free. The boat was nice and well-maintained - and the crew seemed very professional. Our only suggestion is that there could have been more commentary during the trip. No one said anything from when we left until we got back. I'm only assuming they would have said something if we had seen a whale. |
