Whale Watching

Although we didn't see any whales I was not disappointed. I saw dolphins playing and jumping in the water. I had never seen them other than Sea World before. They were very close to the boat and I could see the different types of dolphins. It was very exciting. I also saw many sea lions floating in the ocean with their flippers pointed towards the sun. The two hours was the perfect amount of time. It was a wonderful experience I plan on enjoying again.

We saw two gray whales and hung out with fun group of dolphins. The captain sped up the boat and the dophins were playing in the wake. It was great!

My husband and I took our three children and my mother on this whale watching excursion. The crew was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, we didn't see any grey whales, but we did encounter a pod of at least a 100 bottlenosed dolphins. They swam right up to the boat, giving us a front row seat to the beauty and majesty of these amazing creatures. My kids can't wait to go again and neither can I.

Dana Pride is a clean and tidy boat, well taken care of. The unobstructed view from the upper deck, outfitted with tables and benches, was a plus as we did not feel crowded. The pace was easy going and allowed for several nice sequences of photos. Would definitely go again with Dana Wharf on the Dana Pride.

We have been out with these guys before. We did the 2 hour whale watch. The captain was knowledgable and personable. The boat was clean. We didn't see any whales but we saw a ton of dolphins and some sea lions. It's a bummer not to see a whale but it's still a really beautiful way to spend a couple hours out at sea. We will keep taking our out of town visitors out and maybe one day we will see a whale!

A very friendly group of guides. Very knowledgeable of all sea life and their habits and patterns. Went way out of the way to find a gray whale and found him and cruised with him for a while. Cruised for quite some time with the dolphin as well. They made you very comfortable and walked around making sure that all questions were answered and nobody was unsatisfied. This was for my daughters birthday and we did an early afternoon cruise, it was perfect and a perfect fun beginning to her day!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! They were too cool and it was way fun!!!

We had a fantastic time. We got to see a bunch of common dolphins then they found a migrating grey whale. The guides not only made sure you found these majestic animals but also taught you about them and the different species you could encounter. I would recommend this trip for anyone!!

It was a cold December afternoon, but we braved the weather as we stood at the front of the boat. Thank goodness there was coffee, hot chocolate, and cervesa to keep us warm. Although we didn't see any whales, we did see a few dolphins at the very last moment- which was fun, and we received a coupon to come try it again- we will be back for sure!
