A great activity for my 13 year old grandson

| When looking for this type of activity for my grandson, I went to the internet to chose the cruise that I thought would work for us. Had we not seen dolphins and a blue whale, I thought it very good customer relations that those of us onboard would receive a "rain check". The crew was very efficient, personable and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this activity. | ||||||

| Dana Wharf Sportfishing is a great way to take your kids fishing. Our Sunday trip included about 25 children of all ages. Everybody had fun. It was safe, clean and, for us, a really special day. My younger son, 6 years old, is deaf. Crew guys Mark and Evan - both of whom have connections to the deaf community - were simply brilliant. They used some sign language and did everything they could to communicate and help him understand how to fish. They helped my son feel incredibly comfortable... even helped him catch two fish!!! My older son, 10, caught only one fish -- but it was the biggest of the day. He won the Jackpot!!! Do your family a favor -- go! | ||||||

| My wife and I took our grandson(13) for this fishing adventure. The crew was very helpful and friendly. I don't recall how many times(too many to count) that the crew had to untangle our snarled reels, but they did so in a amiable manner not reflecting on our clumsiness. The boat was well maintained and clean with plenty of room for the anglers. We caught 6-12 fish each but they were too small to keep. My only thought was that maybe if we had gone out further( you could clearly see the shore) that the catch might have been larger. | ||||||

| We all had a great time on the boat. The crew was very helpful coming to our aid with fishing rods, jammed reels, lost weights and hooks. It was so nice being out on the water and seeing the coastline. In addition we saw wonderful marine life during our trip. We had a great day. | ||||||

| We enjoyed our whale watching cruise but unfortunately did not see any whales. The person on the microphone commented that not only were there no whales but the wildlife in general seemed especially quiet. As avid whale watchers we appreciated that that's a chance you take when going whale watching but were disappointed nonetheless. We were given our tickets back. We live out of the area so not sure if we'll ever use our tickets but appreciated the gesture. | ||||||

| About five minutes into our adventure, we were entertained by a group of California sea lions relaxing on a buoy. Shortly thereafter, we saw dolphins diving and swimming. There must have been one hundred of these loveable, beautiful, graceful creatures. And, to top off our trip, we saw four magnificient blue whales. Words can not describe the beauty we beheld. Our two crew members were very personable and professional. It was clear that they were as excited as all of us about seeing nature's incredible gifts. The catamaran was the perfect size and everyone on board was able to see everything. It's a great ride! We are planning another trip to California to see the grey whales, and will book with Catamaran Adventure Cruises. | ||||||

| The crew was fun and enthusiastic and provided a great deal of insight into marine mammals. We saw a dozen blue whales, so it was an extraordinary afternoon of whale watching. Great experience. | ||||||

| We had a grand time. The catamaran and crew were fabulous. We saw 4 blue whales and a sun fish. Crew answered all our questions and my granddaughter enjoyed a great P&J sandwich. You definitely cannot go wrong in booking this type of trip for your family. | ||||||

| The Sunday afternoon (12:45) boats are geared towards kids, especially with the "kids free" option. The crew definitely makes every effort to make sure the kids are having fun. I have been on several of these trips this year on the "Sum Fun" boat, and this crew works very hard. If you want a trip that's going to be very kid-friendly and fun for your kids, this is it. There are plenty of other trips for those who want something a little more quiet... | ||||||
