Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching

This is the 4th time on the same whale watching ship and I have still yet to see even one whale. It seems a bit pricey for those odds. Also, we were freezing cold even with gloves and jackets and hats on. The crew was great and you can't beat the scenery, but we want to see whales!

Great seeing the dolphins they were very social and fun loving. Wonderful 2 hr boat ride in the clear blue ocean; well maintained boat. Guide did a great job getting us a view of the 1 gray whale that surfaced a few times.

We wanted to take our children out to see whales and dolphins. We saw dolphins and whales and my children we so excited. The staff was great to explain different things and very helpful. It was such a learning experience for my kids. We would highly recommend this company to anyone. We wanted to stay another day so we could see more but we had to come home.

We saw two types of dolphins, which would be especially cool for those who have never seen dolphins, but we were really hoping for whales. Since we didn't see any, we got a voucher for half off if we go again. Was there in mid-Feb, and it was a nice time out on the ocean. Boat was nice and clean, and the crew seemed to be searching pretty hard. We'll give it another shot.

This was my 3rd excursion with these guys and we saw a whale!! Even if we hadn't, it would have been a great day just to be out on the water. The captain stayed with the whale for about an hour of the excursion so there was plenty of opportunity for all to take photos or videos. We've had the same captain every time and he's great! The crew is nice and the boat is clean. We won't go out with any other excursion company. These guys are the best.

Was soo cool to see all the dolphins, jumping. Was impressed that we saw 4 whales, even though they didn't give us the tail! It was a great time for a great price!

Crew was great, had a good time, but the boat has no seats to rest on and its a long trip... Also, there is no indoor galley so you can't get out of the sun on a hot day.

We didn't see any whales due to the dense fog. Better to go later in the day I guess. Still, the crew took us into a pod of dolphins which was fun to see.

We saw two gray whales and hung out with fun group of dolphins. The captain sped up the boat and the dophins were playing in the wake. It was great!

OMG I highly recommend you to go Whale Whatching. It WAS an amazing experience! We saw lots of killer Whales, and some Dolphins! Next time I go I hope I see lots of Dolphins instead of lots of Whales!

My parents were visiting my house, and I took them to the whale watching trip. Luckily, we could see killer whales, a whale, sea lions, a blue shark, and dolphins. Especially, killer whales are really rare, so we are really lucky.

We left on time, the crew was friendly and informative. Slow fishing in the winter but we moved around a bit to try new locations as needed (we hit 4). We are inexpereinced fisherpeople and the crew was good about helping when lines got caught and even helped set up the poles we borrowed.
