| I have lived in San Clemente for the last 27 years and have gone fishing out of Dana Point since the mid 70's. I was absolutely surprised to see Whales in Late June in local waters! What a terrific experience, I thought whales were only around in migration season | ||||||

| Our group had a great time. There were several whale sightings and the captain put a lot of effort into keeping a watch for the whales and directing the boat so we all could have a closer look. We even came up along side a group of sea lions. It was a great little get away. | ||||||

| I took my son and 2 other kids from our youth group at church. we had a ball. The kids learned alot. the captain was very informative. and made sure that we were able to get great picks of the Whales and dolphins. The boat wasn't to crowded so there was plenty of places to view everything. Great and memorible trip. | ||||||

| My husband and I each took our dad's out for fathers day. My dad had never been and had a good time. My husband takes his dad every year. Very fun and exciting! | ||||||

| We were only 15 minutes from the harbor when we spotted the first whale. The captain explained what we were seeing and stayed in the area until it "sounded". We witnessed the fluke as it dove down. Then we sailed to another spot where there were hundreds of dolphins swimming and jumping. They continued quite some time and the whole time the captain was sharing information. This was the most awesome experience and even now I get goose bumps! I had read about this activity prior to arriving in California from Oregon. I wanted to make a memory with my niece and nephew, this excursion provided that. On the way back into the harbor we spotted another variety of dolphin , sea lions and another whale. What an incredible experience. Thank you so much. This was beyond my expectations. | ||||||

| Although I live locally my dad and his wife were in town from Wisconsin. It was a great activity both for them being out of town and for my 3 year old daughter. We saw a ton of dolphins, 2 whales (which I wasn't anticipating) as well as the seals, not to mention the beautiful landscape. I would recommend the cruise for both locals and out of towners! | ||||||

| We enjoyed the trip, but it is definitely an "eco-tour" as opposed to a "good times tour." The tour took us into a pod of dolphins, which were really fun to watch, then the captain spotted a HUGE blue whale and we hung out near the whale and watched it breach and dive, breach and dive, breach and dive (you get the picture...) It was amazing, but 45 min. watching one whale, all the while bobbing in the swells, was a bit much. The little girl next to me "lost her lunch" overboard. Personally, I would have preferred moving on after seeing the whale for a short while (you can only see a tiny portion of the whale's back) and finding some more dolphins. They seem to want to entertain you! Anyway, if you have whale enthusiasts, go on this tour. If you are just looking for a fun ride or if you have a tendency toward sea-sickness, I'd not advise it. | ||||||

| The crew smoked non-stopped! I couldn't really enjoy fishing when i had to move around avoiding the smoke, even when they were helping you w/ the fish, they smoked. Wish there was a non-smoking boat. Would go again if there was. | ||||||

| Th entire fishing trip was very well handled. They knew all the questions, and had reasonable, understandable responses to them. Got through the day with no issues at all because the folks that run the activity are so well prepared. | ||||||

| I invited my Great Granddaughter to go fishing (9Yrs. old.) We both had a great time.Your crew were very helpful and actually the other guests were also friendly and helpful. My Great Granddaughter now knows how to bait the hook! She of course would love to go again. Thank you for a wonderful day. | ||||||

| Dear Sir/Madam, The above mentioned trip which was advertised as a fishing trip where children can join in for free (at the 12.45 time) is certainly not suitable for children if the Reel Fun is used. There is no shade, no seating, the food was severly under cooked and it's certainly not geared towards providing an enjoyable experience for children. We were lucky as most of the time my children were asleep. It is only geared for fishing enthusiasts who don't mind the above mentioned lack of comfort. However, since the same price is charged for this boat as all other boats that address and provide the items lacking, the Reel Fun should either be retired, or not be used for family trips at all, and the ticket price for those individuals who want to use this boat should drastically be reduced. | I've lived in Southern California most of my adult life, yet learned things about local sealife that I'd never heard. We saw more dolphins than I could imagine, and more whales than I was expecting or hoping for. The captain was very experienced and informative. I plan on taking my grandson this week. | ||||||
