Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching

I would recommend this two hour outing to anyone. It was very interesting and the tour guide was very knowlegable on the subject of dolphins and whales and the area in general. Thanks for a wonderful trip.

A most satisfactory 2 hours, but be sure to bring along a jacket.

Was a glorious sunny day, all the crew were very helpful and the boat was able to supply plenty of food and drink for us weary fishermen.Good day was had by all

Nice day on the water, crew was helpful, food was great, fishing was very slow, captain sat in one spot for 90 mins with only a few bottom fish produced. We later moved onto other spots to fish. Crew gave 1/2 off coupons for next trip on future trip. i recommend for kids and families only. (Novice)

We saw two types of dolphins, which would be especially cool for those who have never seen dolphins, but we were really hoping for whales. Since we didn't see any, we got a voucher for half off if we go again. Was there in mid-Feb, and it was a nice time out on the ocean. Boat was nice and clean, and the crew seemed to be searching pretty hard. We'll give it another shot.

If you can enjoy 2 hours on the open sea, then you can't go wrong on this trip. We did see dolphins, and even a grey whale, but we delighted in the journey. They are honest about what you might see that day, so ask.

Wonderful day on the ocean, we could see Palos Verdes Penninsula to the north and Catalina was crystal clear! Beautiful scenic trip up to Laguna Beach, spotted one gray whale and pods of "rare" white sided dolphins. The boat was clean, the staff very helpful and the scenic cruise up the coast was wonderful. It was fun to see my childhood beach in Laguna from the "ocean" view. GREAT time had by all and look forward to doing it again ASAP. Thank you all so much!!

I The water was cold so the fishing was slow. We still had a great time because of the boat hands. They were very helpful to me and my kids.

We had a group of 10 people from age 12 to 90 and we all had a fantastic time. Mom (90) was completely safe with her walker and had no trouble boarding or boating, which was my concern. We all got to see the grey whales, the sun was out, the ocean was quite calm, and it was a great day! An.d they gave us 50% coupons off the next time if we choose to come back again, which I think I will! Big thumbs up and you'd better make those reservations and GO

We wanted to take our children out to see whales and dolphins. We saw dolphins and whales and my children we so excited. The staff was great to explain different things and very helpful. It was such a learning experience for my kids. We would highly recommend this company to anyone. We wanted to stay another day so we could see more but we had to come home.

The skipper was very well versed on all the sea life we saw. My 10 year old grand daughter is now enthused about whales and marine life. The day was windy & chilly but so worth the trip. The boat was clean, staff friendly and professional. 2 hours is just the right amount of time. Go and have a look at the sea!

We safely and respectfully followed a whale and her calf,dolphins and harbor seals. Capt. Chad was very informative, and his love for the sea and its inhabitants made the trip even more enjoyable. The boat was very clean, well maintained and handled beautifully even in windy and choppy sea conditions. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This was my third time out with these guys and I'm pleased every time. The crew is very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw only two whales, but plenty of dolphins. I will definitely return on my next trip to California!
