Exciting, fun activity

The catamaran felt safe and yet we had quite a ride with the waves running about 4-6 feet. We didn't see any whales but quite a few dolphins. |

Fishing on the Clemente is such a great time. The captain, the cook, and the deck hands are all very nice and helpful. I am an amatuer fisher, at best, and still caught a few fish, and so did my 9 year old nephew. If your lines get crossed, if you lose your weights, or your hook, or catch a fish, the staff on board are there in an instant to help you. They have nets available too if you are lucky enough to catch a big daddy. Then on the way back to the harbor, the staff will filet your fish for you.
Basically, all you do is show up. Everything is waiting there for you to bring fish home for the Barbeque. |

The fish were delicious. Only thing we could think to improve the trip would be some benchs around to sit on. Long day to just stand. All in all GREAT DAY |

the crew was nice and my whole group had a great time with all of us catching plenty of fish... we would def. do this trip again soon. Moved around to a few different spots and the captain made up for it by extending the time out there with no pressure on time.... great day on the water. |

What a fantastic time we had! I was a little nervous to go after I read some reviews but let me tell you, it was awesome! The staff (especially Dan) was attentive and always around. The fish were biting and I think everyone caught something. The food smelled delicious and the beer was ice cold. The weather was perfect and I couldn't be more impressed. In fact, we're going again on Sunday!! |

We had a good time but we wish we could have gone a little further out. We both feel that we would have had a better time and caught more fish if we had not been so close to the shore. |

We (my wife and I) have been on numerous Whale Watching trips aboard the Dana Pride and each one has been a thoroughly satisfying and wonderful experience. Excellent captain, crew and vessle -- top flight all the way. We've taken family and friends along and have never been disappointed. In fact, our granddaughter will be visting us from Omaha next week and is very excited about going out with us, especially after hearing about our most recent trip where we encountered mega-pods of dolphin and a blue whale. I've also been on several fishing charters out of Dana Wharf and would rate these excellent as well. |

the staff was excellent and the trip was alot of fun
sometimes it was hard to hear the loud speaker to know a little bit more about the suggestions of the fishing. It would have been more fun if we had all caught a fish.
the food was very good. My 11 year old daughter now wants to go on an all day trip instead of the 1/2 day. It did seem like it went fast. |

Never been out of Dana Point before, but will highly recommend using them again.
Checked in with out any problems and waited in line to board. Once aboard the crew was extreamly helpful and polite. Once we arrived at the spot the captain decided we should fish from. We droped anchor and imediately brgan to catch fish. Even when I brought the fish aboard the crew was quick to remove the hook and get me back in the water. He also placed my fish in the gunny shack provided by the boat. The gunny sack was only 1 dollar, but the best dollar I'll ever spend, as amatter of fact the price of the 1/2 day boat was the best fishing for the price you will ever receive. Everybody on the trip was pleasent and fun to be around

The staff is what impressed me the most and the patience they showed the children!
We will be bringing 20 scout boys on this trip because of your staff, expertise and professionalism. We were able to have a successful day and enjoy other clients. The staff were so personable, considerate and hard working. I would take 1000 of them! Great job! Pamela Shawkey |
