Great Whale & Dolphin Day

| It was a wonderful trip - the co-captain was most informative on the gray whale and we were wonderfully surprised to see a mega pod of 5000 dolphins playfully joining our boat! | ||||||

| I was impressed with the captain's commentary about Baileen Whales and the CA Gray Whale in particular. We spotted and trailed a Gray Whale for about an hour and the crew seemed just as excited as the passengers were. What a spectacular trip! | ||||||

| The morning had a chill in the air but I was so excited about my whale watching cruise! My friend and I arrived and waited patiently to board. The crew was wonderful. We headed out...the tour was not very crowded (guess there are lots of sleepy heads in OC). We spent 2 incredible hours on the ocean. I find peace and tranquility there...Captain Jack was very informative and I learned quite a bit about those magnificent creatures! We found a whale that we were able to follow for 45 minutes and it was awe-inspiring. I wish I could go every week...I truly believe the whales and dolphins are magical creatures! I would recommend this cruise to all! THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL BEGINNING TO MY WEEKEND! | ||||||

| The 2 hours spent on the whale watching boat were very fun! The ocean was calm, the crew experienced, friendly and professional. Though we ultimately did not see any whales, we did receive a coupon to go back out again! I would recommend this activity to my friends! | ||||||

| On our first day of whale watching we didn't see anything. It was disappointing, but we were surprised with free tickets to come back whenever we could. No expiration date!!! We ended up returning a few days later and saw a whale and a huge pod of dolphin. It was so exciting!!!! I will return whenever I am in the area. This was a great deal for the money, especially because they stand by their ride!!!! | ||||||

| Early morning adventure at sea was refreshing and fun. Clean air, great coastal views on a wonderful boat ride. Captain and coriders were friendly and as unbeatable as the $8.00 ticket price. Missed the whales and were given free return trip tickets to go again, outstanding outing!!! | ||||||

| This was a very fun two-hour cruise, although we didn't see any whales or dolphins. The crew gave us passes to come back ANYTIME as promised and we will defintely be back! The boat was great and not too full, the only time someone in our group felt sea sick was when they stopped for a few minutes to see if the whale would surface. Great trip for a group of friends- definitely recommended! | ||||||

| Dana Wharf was very professional and courteous throughout the trip. The boat was clean, they serve food and drinks on the boat which was great for the 8am trip. We unfortunately did not see any whales or dolphins, but they made sure to give each passenger a coupon that is good forever, for any time of day (upon making reservations). I look forward to the next trip out and hope we will see whales when we do. | ||||||

| The ride was nice, unfortunately we did not see any whales or dolphins, but we did get our tickets back to come another day! We went on the 8 a.m. trip I think next time we will try for a later time. | ||||||

| We arrived in Dana Point early and really enjoyed the area. We waited in anticipation for the boat to dock and were excited when it came around the corner. This was the first time any of us had been in a boat in the ocean and we were thrilled. The boat was clean, the staff was wonderful, and the experience was amazing. We didn't get to see a whole lot of whales but just being out on the water was amazing. During our trip we encountered a small amount of bottle-nose dolphins and a few Fin whales. It was really cool. The captain wasn't satisfied with the amount of time we had with actual animal experience and offered us all $10 off our next trip. Next time we are in town we will definitely take him up on this offer. Taking the evening trip was memorable as we were able to watch the sun set behind Catalina island. This experience will be one that our whole family remembers forever. | ||||||
