| Although we did not see any whales, we did see hundreds of small white dolphins. This is our third trip aboard the DANA PRIDE. It is a beautiful boat. Very comfortable with a good captain and crew. The water was as smooth as silk and the trip was great. We look forward to our next trip aboard. | ||||||

| My friends came from Chicago and were staying in San Diego when they decided to go whale watching. I told them to come up here since it was more convenient to get tickets, get on the ship, and more pleasant surroundings. We went whale watching, and although we didn't see any whales(can't predict), we did see hundreds of dolphins, non stop. The ship was beatiful(Dana Pride), plenty of room to walk around or sit, inside or out. It was a beautiful day, the coastline was fabulous, and we got great pictures. My friends said it was an E ticket, can't get better than that. | ||||||

| It was a beautiful sunny day, although chilly. Warm clothing is recommended. We unfortunately did not see any whales, but did see a huge pod of dolphins that swam with the boat for quite a while. This made it all worthwhile. We would definately go out again! | ||||||

| We loved the ocean, watching the dolphins playing! Seeing a little bit of the whale was awesome! We booked the trip and went 3 times! It was SO much fun! The first trip we saw tons of dolphins and sea lions and 1 whale! 2nd trip we didn't see anything, but still enjoyed the boat tour! - And since we didn't see dolphins or whales we received our ticket back stamped for a free trip, so we took our 3rd trip & we again saw tons of dolphins and sea lions! We would definitely recommend this tour! The staff was GREAT! :) | ||||||

| Friendly, helpful crew made the fishing enjoyable. We caught enough fish for dinner without landing anything very large. It was winter fishing and we were satisfied with the day. Equipment rented was fine and bait supplied did the tick. | ||||||

| We had a very good experience on our whale watching trip. We saw a pair whales that the boat tracked for about 45 minutes. We also saw a few dolphins and sea lions. The captain was knowledgeable and did a good job at following the whales so we got to see them spout several times. I definitely want to go back out again during blue whale season! | ||||||

| I loved the trip but I felt with the money we paid for the trip we could have gotten closer to the whales. we were wayyyyy back. There was a ship right on top of them and sometimes in front so sometimes we could not see and that ship did its best to get in front. I did gets some good pics but it upset us. I just felt the Capt could have tryed to get closer. | ||||||

| We did not encounter any dolphins until c 15 minutes from the end of the trip, but when they arrived this was worth while. As we were heading back to the harbor we encoutnered a gray whale in the disctance, but didn't have the time to follow as time was up. Overall a good trip. | ||||||

| Loved this trip, website was very nice to use for booking, boat left on time and was very stable and comfortable on the water. Staff was diligent in maximizing the experience and very knowledgable about the marine life. They were really very pleasant and we would recommend the trip and take another one ourselves. | We took the catamaran boat for our whate watching experience. It was awesome! Weather was cold but clear, water was calm, boat was comfortable and offered both indoor and outdoor seating and/or standing. We saw whales on 4 different occasions during the 2 hour trip, however, they were very elusive, and did not like the boats approaching, so they stayed very quiet and did not exhale in a way that would allow us to see the big spray from their blowhole. Instead, they would come up to the surface, quietly exhale, then go back down again -- so, you only got to see a small part of the top of them, and just for a quick second or two. It was still really neat to observe. The dolphins were incredible though! There were hundreds of them, and they loved to play in the wakes of the boat. They were so much fun to watch! We also got to check out the seals on our way back to the dock. All in all, it was a great experience, and I would definitly do it again! :) | ||||||

| we had a great time......everyone was friendly & the boat was very clean.................as far as wildlife.................dolphins scored big....they were fantastic......in fact the cruise should of been called the dolphin expedition with whales :):) we did see (kind of) 3 maybe 4 whales....we only saw their water spout up & a bit of their back side but if we werent looking we wouldnt of thought it was a whale.....but we understand whales can be elusive at times - this is not alaska, canada, or norway............we also saw some weird upside down stingray fish which was cool.....even though the whales were shy the dolphins totally made up for it................we had a blast & the catamaran was a nice choice for site seeing.................thank you!!!!! | ||||||

| Each member in my party thoroughly enjoyed themselves on our trip, even though the weather was very cold outside. We were able to see a grey whale, a pod of dolphins, and some sea lions - it was great! We would definitely take this trip again in the future! | ||||||

| We went on the valentines day sunset whale watching cruise. It was my husband and I and then my mom and dad. It was the BEST time! We saw 1 whale and hundreds of dolphins. The crew was very nice and friendly. We are already trying to plan our next trip. This is definately worth every penny! | ||||||

| We had a wonderful time on our whale watching cruise, we saw whales and dolphins and the staff was very accomidating and friendly. The scenery was beautiful and we all enjoyed our trip. | ||||||
