| My daughter and I really enjoyed the Grey Whale Tour. The whales eluded us but we had a great time watching the dolphins. The equipment and crew were first rate. Really good value for the cost - especially in Southern California. Do it! | ||||||

| OUr first day was canceled because of high winds- so next day tried again. GOt on the boat but it was windy and chilly, no whales . . . . sea lions, dolphins, but no whales. WE had 9 in our group and 3 of us barfed!. Hmmmmm. Probably wouldnt go again, although the crew was friendly and informative and gave us tickets to come back again any time and try to see the whales but all in all. . . . wouldn't do it again. | ||||||

| Our whale watching was cancelled due to wind and rescheduled for the next day. We arrived with great expectations but what we got was sick due to the rough waters reculting from continued wind. Granted the wind was much lighter than the day before but cauised problems even at the lower force. We all took a dramamine just in case. In hind sight we may have been better served by taking more. Four of our group vomited violently while the rest of the group turned green. Not a single whale was spotted. The tour group gave us vouchers to some aback and try again free of charge which would have sufficed if we lived near by but we don't and so we spent our money for nothing. Leah Ann Manning | ||||||

| Went during the gloomy weekend, which turned out to be a bad idea!! The waves were really big and the boat was rocking the entire time, to the point where you can't even walk across the boat without holding on. A few people got seasick, and the rest looked like they were just trying not to get sick. We didn't see any whales OR dolphins!!! The crew was very nice, so that was the only plus. Just be sure to go on a nice day. | ||||||

| Although we did not spot any whales on our trip, my daughter and I still had lots of fun just being out on the water! The best part is that the DanaWharf provides you with a free return ticket because we did not see a whale, so we get to go back whenever we would like. It does not even have to be this season! That definitely made it worth our while. The staff of the Dana Pride were also very friendly. I would recommend this for a fun activity for the family | ||||||

| We chose the catamaran tour because of the limit of 50 people. We did not want to be shoved like sardines into a tour boat. The catamaran was spacious and provided great viewing access for everyone on board. I have used this tour company before and we have ALWAYS seen whales! (maybe just our luck!) One thing that is not mentioned that I wish we had known about was the FREE BREAKFAST that was provided with the FREE LECTURE at 10am. It was very informative and humorous as well. Its well worth the additional money! The reservations were easy to make online and even if you are in a hotel and cant print the e-ticket out, they make it EASY by providing a number you can write down and take with you! The reservations department was well informed and I would certainly do business here again! | ||||||

| We didn't see anything! No whales! No dolphins! The captain tried really hard and right when time was about up..we saw the spout in the distance..that's as close as we got! We received a Whale Check to go back for free! Hopefully we have better luck next time! | ||||||

| Choppy choppy water. 60% of the passengers got sick on the boat and were throwing up. Do not bring children under 3. Driver of boat was late getting back so we flew home and the entire boat was splashed we almost all of us got soaked and it was cold outside. Also NO Whales - no Seals Very disappointing. | ||||||

| The crew were so friendly and really enjoy their job. The boat is comfortable with plenty of room. Only wish we could have stayed longer but didn't find the whale until about time to go in. But got a few really great pictures. Our visit was too short but there can not be a bad trip when you can see something as majestic as these beautiful creatures. I am already planning my next trip. | ||||||

| We had a lot of fun. We saw lots of dolphins and sea lions and had a great time cruising out on the ocean. The crew was friendly and helpful. There was plenty of seating inside and out and the galley had good food. I had a breakfast burreto which was really good. Highly recommended. | ||||||

| While it would have been great to see a whale or two, I was happy to see some seals, several lazy dolphins, and a whole lot of interesting birds. The boat was clean, there was plenty of seating inside (although the best place for sightings is the outside railing), and there was a good selection of reasonably priced items in the galley. I will definitely go again! | ||||||

| MY FAMILY AND I WERE VERY EXCITED TO GO ON THIS TRIP. WE DID SEE A COUPLE OF DOLPHINS. BUT MUCH TO OUR DISAPPOINTMENT WE DID NOT SEE ANY WHALES!!! NOT ONE SIGN OF THEM!! AT THE END OF THE TRIP WE WERE ALL VERY SEA SICK AND COLD AND JUST WISHING TO GET OFF THE BOAT!!! NOT SURE IF WE WILL DO THIS AGAIN .... | ||||||
