| I thought when I booked the tickets, if we didn't see any whales, we would get a raincheck for another day. We did not see any. I was disappointed, and so was my family from out of town. | ||||||

| This was a great experience for us. We had never gone fishing before and it was so easy. Crew members were friendly, outgoing, and helpful. They made sure to come around often. | ||||||

A great place to take an out of town visitor

| This is a gem of a place to take an out of town visitor. On our trip, we were able to see a whale (a part of it at least), and many many dolphins. The ship was nice, the crew were laid back, and they were eager to find the whales---and get us close to view them. The experience was amazing---and we'll definitely be back when other people come visit us. | ||||||

| We went on the 2pm trip on december 21, 2008. We saw only one whale, but when we returned to the harbor we suddenly noticed a pod of dolphins behind the boat. We notified the captain. He turned around and suddenly we were amidst hundreds of dolphins. They jumped out of the water on all sides of the boat; it was truly magnificent. I appreciate the extra effort of the crew to stay 10-15 minutes longer on the water so that we could see the dolphins. I will definitely go again. | ||||||

| We saw a whale, the same whale four times as it came up for air. There were many dolfin swiming and jumping along side the boat. We had a great time. Of course, a whale sighting is not for certain, but our outing was great. | ||||||

| I enjoyed the trip but only saw Dalphins and I thought that this was a whale watching trip. I did not like the notice that if you did not see any whales or dolphins then you get a free trip. You will always see dolphins in the ocean as I have talked to others that have taken the trip but we wanted to see whales. | ||||||

| WE HAD A BEAUTIFUL DAY OUT ON THE WATER. THE ONLY THING THAT COULD HAVE MADE IT BETTER IS IF WE WOULD HAVE SEEN SOME ''WHALE'S'' ALL WE SAW WERE COMMON DOLPHINS, SEA LIONS, SOME OTHER KIND OF DOLPHINS AND LOTS OF BIRDS. BUT NO WHALES. THEY SAY THEY DON'T LIKE THE SUN, THEY COME OUT BETTER ON CLOUDY DAYS. SO THE NEXT TIME WE WILL TRY IT ON A CLOUDY DAY. | ||||||

| It was a beautiful day. We saw sea lions and two different types of dolphins. So it could easily have been a great trip. The captain, though, was decidedly unenthusiastic. Kind of ruined the moment. | ||||||

| I invited my children from San Fransisco to come and enjoy waching whales. The smal children were very exited. About 2 hours cruise we did not see any of sea animals. They told us we can try one more time. Hopefully the children will come again and partisipate. | ||||||

| I would recommend this trip to anyone. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. At first we saw the sea lions, then some white sided dolphins (I believe that is what they were called), and then a real treat! Killer whales!! Our captain said it was very rare to see them off the Dana Point Harbor, but it was absolutely amazing. The captain also got us right up next to the whales. They swam under our boat, next to the boat, and right in front of the boat. We were all in shock and kept saying things like, "I have only seen something this amazing at Sea World!" To see those animals in their natural habitat is one of the most memorable thing you will ever do. I promise this trip will not let you down. The sites are beautiful! | ||||||
