| It was my fist ocean fishing trip with my son. I have been doing these trips for years but it was his first. The boat was at max capacity and this made for difficult conditions. The fishing was a little slow but we managed to haul in a few. | ||||||

| Totally worth the money, especially since I went on a Tuesday evening when it was half price... But it was worth more than full price! It was beautiful!! The Dolphins were wonderful, the Sea Lions utterly amusing to watch and the whales were breathtaking... I just loved the trip. I would have been happy with just seeing the dolphins and the whole swarm of birds that were feeding, so to actually see a whale, which I wasn't expecting even though it was a whale watching trip, that was simply amazing!!! | ||||||

Fishing Capitan needs a course in Public Relation.

| A fishing Capitain that need a course in putlic relations and how to treat the public. For the half day price - the Capitain took us on a boat ride along the coast for about 25 minutes south never going greater than the deep of 30 to 35 feet. Stop and turn around and told every body to fish. After about 35 minutes with very few hook ups, He pull up anchor and went north for about 8 minutes. Two seals and 4 pelclins were with us and we were told to fish, for another 45 minutes to one hour, the result -very poor filshing. Everybody knows that with two seal around the boat, that the fish move out. The captain refused to rotate the position so everyone had a chance to fish from the back. We move for a third time up the coast toward the dock, another ten minute rideand stop to fish. Again the seals were with us at a depth of 30 feet. Made no effort or cared if he was providing service to his customers, just puting in his time be fore He would pick up the afternoon Suckers for another boat ride. I have deep sea fish in Souther California 50 years and this is the worst Fishing Captain I have ever fish with. | ||||||

| I CAUGHT FISH, HAD SOME GOOD CONVERSATIONS WITH FELLOW FISHERMEN & WOMEN, SAW A BEAUTIFUL SUNSET AND A MOON LIT NIGHT, BUT WHEN THE WIND PICKED UP IT GOT A LITTLE ROUGH AND SOME FOLKS LOOKED LIKE THEY JUST GOT OFF OF THE TILT-A- WHIRL AFTER EATING TO MUCH COTTON CANDY.... | ||||||

| The ride and tour were excellent. We saw a variety of wildlife including sea lions, dolphins and blue whales. The whale watching was the most spectacular I have ever seen. The naturalist giving the tour was also very good and informative. | ||||||

| What a redeeming oceanic experience! I was hesitant at first because my wife and I got ripped off at the Long Beach Aquarium. Despite having 2 for 1 tickets, all we got to see were bus loads of school children, stroller brigades, and obnoxious parents. Gawd, I had obnoxious parents! This spur of the moment mid week pseudo date adventure extravaganza was worth it after 3/4 into the trip we found pods of dolphins (watching birds flocking for the anchovies being push up in the water). As we headed back to the shore, we FINALLY saw what we came / paid for, BLUE WHALES (AND ONE WITH A BABY). This is the kind of parent i actually enjoy seeing! Too bad, but my camera just died after getting a little bit of footage (. Anyhow, the captain and crew were cool, and the OCEAN ADVENTURES is NOT MONEY HUNGRY....THEY DON'T OVERCROWD THEIR BOATS! KUDOS TO A GREAT EVENING (5pm trip). EARLY DATE. AWESOME ADVENTURE.!!! | ||||||

| My wife and I went on a three day mini vacation to Laguna for our ten year anniversary. We scheduled the Whale watching for our last day. This two hour trip ended our vacation as it started {Completely Awesome}. We were fortunate to have a great Captain and extremely fortunate to see 4 blues and 2 Fin whales, not to mention the huge school of common Dolphin that were very playful. We spoke with others on board and found out that some had ventured out numerous times but never saw any whales, which is why we considered ourselves extremely fortunate to witness these gigantic mammals. It was the perfect whale watching trip to end a perfect 3 day vacation. Thank you Dana Wharf. | ||||||

| Though we didn't see any whales we ran into hundreds of dolphins which were quite amusing to ride along side of. Weather and the sunset were awesome, and boat provided everything we needed with plenty of space to walk around. Quite a wonderful late afternoon journey. Great way to get away. Kids (and infant) loved it. | ||||||

| My group from Utah had a wonderful time and made some great memories. The fishing was great and the only negative comment was that the kids didn't see any dolphins. Otherwise everyone was very satisfied!! | ||||||

| Met my youngest son, three of this friends at Dana Point went on a 1/2 day boat. Everyone on the boat caught sand, calico bass, short barracuda and one nice halibut. The captain and boat hands were extremely courteous and helpful in assisting the fishermen in retying hooks, removing fish, bagging them, untangling line snags and cleaning the fish. Great 1/2 day boat for all. | ||||||

| We live in Dana Point, but our friends came down from Colorado to join us. There were 4 adults and 5 children. Everyone had a great time and all the kids caught fish! The crew is very helpful and will do whatever they can to make your fishing trip experience enjoyable. | ||||||

| This was a fun family outing for 14 of us--all ages--13 to 79--.Don't know why, but our group was the only one with females?? Everyone enjoyed it --those that caught fish, enjoyed it more! The crew were very helpful and the burgers were good. I'd recommend it for sure. Nice people aboard | ||||||
