Just didn't see any whales! Saw dolphins.

| The organization and process of ticketing, boarding, and disembarking was great. The crew was nice and they tried hard to find some whales in the two hour cruise. We spotted some riso dolphins near the end of the cruise and got up close for some good pictures of them. The ship was clean and comfortable. They did give us a $5 discount on fishing or whale watching later on. | ||||||

| I invited my children from San Fransisco to come and enjoy waching whales. The smal children were very exited. About 2 hours cruise we did not see any of sea animals. They told us we can try one more time. Hopefully the children will come again and partisipate. | ||||||

| We really enjoyed our cruise. We first saw sea lions on a buoy. Then one whale was spotted (by the crew), then a second one! Our captain followed these whales (as best as he could) for the rest of the cruise. It was great to actually see whales on a whale watching cruise. They, apparently, don't always find where the whales are hiding. I wished that I would have had a high-speed camera to capture pictures of the whales when they surfaced! | ||||||

| I have been on whale /dolphin watches all over the world. I have NEVER seen so many dolphins. There were hundreds of them frolicking all around the boat. Skilled captain knew just where to go. | ||||||

| I was disappointed in that the fishing was poor and I thought that at those spots where we encountered seals and sel lions that we ought to have moved, for my experience, althought it is alaska, tells me that when you are in the company of seals and sea lions, the fish are no where to be found. As a newcomer to your area, it would also have helped perhaps to give us an idea of where you were going to fish. You cant do much about those days when the fishing is poor, so take my thought with a grain of salt. Paul Costello Fairbanks | ||||||

| This was my first time ever at deep sea fishing. The crew where encougaging and reassuring. I caught four fish, threw 3 back and enjoyed one for dinner, with leftovers to freeze. It was a very fun experience and I recommend it. | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. We loved having a marine biologist on board to tell us what we were seeing and to answer questions. The captain made every effort to get us to where we were able to see about 30 minutes of blue whale activity even though it meant we would be a little late getting back. It made the cruise that much more enjoyable. The crew was friendly and helpful and the catamaran was clean and comfortable. We had a great time. | ||||||

| A friend and I decided to go out on a 1/2 day boat. Weather was great, the fish were biting quite well. All in all, we enjoyed it a lot and plan to go again on a regular basis. The crew was very helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend. | ||||||

| The experience on the ocean was much enjoyed. It was fun doing catch and release for the mackeral we caught and a nice day just to relax. However, for serious fishermen, the opportunity to catch the big fish (durado, yellowtail) was not there. | ||||||

| The price was great. The fishing wasn't good on the day I went. I only caught two tiny Sculpin. The boat was way too crowded. I would not suggest going on 1/2 price Tuesdays. | ||||||

| We had a great time on what seemed to be a brand new boat and, most important, got to see two blue whales and a fin whale. The captain had wasted no time taking us out to the area the blues were frequenting as this was the creature we all wanted to see. It was an unforgettable experience, seeing the world's largest living creatures | ||||||

| I have been on whale watch rides for decades and never saw a whale close up. the slow moving blue whale was like a submarine nearby....It was one of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen. Then the two huge pods of dolphins with babies and different jump styles was also exhilirating.....On the way home as an extra treat we saw this huge "sharkhead" like fish that was sunning itself for quite some time before disappearing...I forgot its name--your guide identified it... We are now trying to pack in a couple more trips before September to see if we can keep our luck running. It was an incredibly cool trip rivaling the years of Caribean diving that we have done. thanks so much.....see you very soon.....Ed and Nora | ||||||
