| My two sons age 11/12 and I decided to go fishing on the 1/2 day boat. It was a special deal -one paid adult-2 free kids. Hey,you can't beat that deal. The fishing bite was slow but the captain (boat SUMFUN)worked hard trying to find a good bite spot. The majority of the crew was polite,professional and helpful except for one deck hand who was short tempered and rude. I didnt get his name(m/white 20's heavy set 6'0 ruddish skin/ green t-shirt) but he was a grumpy @#$%. He must have had a hangover and should have stayed in bed. The boys had a breakfast sandwich and each boy caught a small fish. The boys had a great time and wanted to stay longer hoping to catch "moby dick".It was an enjoyable 1/2 day and I would go again minus the grump. Also I would like to see the rotation of the standing fishing spots on the boat done with more frequency unless were all catching our limit. | ||||||

| Dana Wharf Sportfishing is a great landing for fishing. It's easy to get to, close parking, no long walks on the dock when you are carrying your gear and a great staff. Every person in the shop and on the boat was friendly and helpful. The boat captain worked hard to put us on the fish. I've never had a fishing trip go this smoothly. We completely enjoyed our trip and will be back again real soon. | ||||||

| The organization and process of ticketing, boarding, and disembarking was great. The crew was nice and they tried hard to find some whales in the two hour cruise. We spotted some riso dolphins near the end of the cruise and got up close for some good pictures of them. The ship was clean and comfortable. They did give us a $5 discount on fishing or whale watching later on. | ||||||

| We went out on the 12 pm boat and we had a blast.....the fish werent biting much but the crew did a great job and we all had fun. They tried several different spots to find fish but unfortunately it was a bit too windy so the fish were not easy to come by. Despite the lack of fish we had a great time out on the boat and I would definately do it again. | ||||||

| I went on the fishing boat thinking I was going to catch a lot of fish and big ones but I ended up wasting my time and money. I didn't catch anything. I don't recommend fishing with Dana Wharf. | ||||||

| The boat was great and we saw a whale, some seals, and some dolphins, so really got all we wanted out of it. The main complaint was the crowd which was full of rude people (no fault of the tour) and the galley had a football game on full blast in surround, which didn't lend itself to the experience at all. The crew is great and knowledgeable. Overall, definitely recommended. | ||||||

| ANYONE CONSIDERING THE OCEAN ADVENTURES TOURS FROM MORNING OR EVENING DEPARTATIONS, ARE SPECTACULAR. I JUST WENT ON MY ADVENTURE CRUISE WITH MY FAMILY 7-20-09 AND SAW A BLUE WHALE!! IT WAS DEFINATELY WONDERFUL TO ENJOY ALONG WITH THE FAMILY, WE ALSO SAW MANY OF THE RISSO DOLPHINS AND JUST GORGEOUS PODS OF OTHER DOLPHINS. VERY INFORMATIONAL ALSO, YOU ARE EDUCATED EVERY STEP OF THE WAY WITH THE CAPTAIN IN CHARGE OF SPEAKING, AND A NICE CREW TO SERVE YOU. VERY EXCITING BEING SO CLOSE TO THE SIGHTS OF ACTION OFF THE BOAT, WHICH WAS ALSO BEAUTIFUL I MIGHT ADD. EVERY ONE ON THE BOAT HAD PLENTY OF ROOM TO WATCH AND ENJOY IN THEIR OWN SPACE ON ALL SIDES OF THE BOAT WHETHER YOU CHOOSE WHALE WATCHING, FISHING OR EVENING OCEAN ADVENTURES YOU WILL SURELY ENJOY YOURSELF WITH FAMILY OR ON A ROMANTIC CRUISE, AND EVEN ALONE, WE MET VERY NICE STRANGERS | ||||||

| Friendly, helpful crew made the fishing enjoyable. We caught enough fish for dinner without landing anything very large. It was winter fishing and we were satisfied with the day. Equipment rented was fine and bait supplied did the tick. | ||||||

| We really enjoyed the trip. The weather was perfect. We saw plenty of common dolphins and finally saw a whale an hour and a half into the trip. He put on a great show for us though. All-in-all, the trip was great! | ||||||

| we went out on a cold and windy day. Unfortunately we didn't spot any whales. The trip was fun though - and we got a pass to come back again for free. The boat was nice and well-maintained - and the crew seemed very professional. Our only suggestion is that there could have been more commentary during the trip. No one said anything from when we left until we got back. I'm only assuming they would have said something if we had seen a whale. | ||||||

| The day was cloudy and cold until we got out on the water, then the sun broke through and it was beautiful. We watched a pod of 3 whales for about 30 minutes or more, then caught some sea lions napping on a buoy. My granddaugher -age 14- absorbed a lot of information from the naturalist and really enjoyed our outing. We will definitely do this again. | ||||||

| Although I live locally my dad and his wife were in town from Wisconsin. It was a great activity both for them being out of town and for my 3 year old daughter. We saw a ton of dolphins, 2 whales (which I wasn't anticipating) as well as the seals, not to mention the beautiful landscape. I would recommend the cruise for both locals and out of towners! | ||||||

| It was great to be out in the ocean, enjoying just that was great. We saw several whales, seal lions, and dolphins. The boat was great as were the crew. We had a wonderful time. | ||||||
