We had a great time, saw tons of dolphins, very friendly crew, good margaritas!!

Very organized and easy tour to book. We didn't see any whales, but still saw plenty of dolphins and their babies as they played all around the boat for as long as we stayed in the area. The boat was not crowded at all, even though we went during the Whale Festival, so everybody had a good view. The captain narrated the trip and his commentary was very informative and interesting. The crew and staff at the storefront were very pleasant and accommodating as well. We are planning to go back sometime to go fishing with this group.

We didn't see any whales but not for lack of trying. The boat captains did all they could but it just wasn't meant to be. We did see two different species of dolphins and one got very close to the boat. It was a relaxing journey with lovely weather and nice way to see the California coast.

For me and my wife really catching a fish would have just been a bonus. We got to see a seal, dolphins. pelicans, which I mite say were a little anoying. But without them it would take away from the experience. Just being on the on the ocean was fun for us. The captian got the anchor stuck and watching the crew try and correct that, was interesting. As for the crew of the boat I dont believe I have seen a more nice and helpful group in a long while. Especially for california. Im from ohio, and that kind of politeness and service is what you see on fishing tours on Lake Erie not off the cost of California. For this reason my wife and I will go back. we got to see some people catch some fish, and that was exciting. Being on the ocean was as equally exciting. my wife liked the kelp she said it was pretty. It was just a fun 5 hrs and I plan to go back in the near future. I will be going on the longer trip though this time. The couple we went with said they go to 100+ft and that is were the wife and I want to go next. So we are looking at the 3/4 day trip.next. andyways this was an enjoyable experience for us we are older couple but had a blast. coodoos to the captian and the crew. we will see you next time... Even though no whales appeared, the ride was still great. The cruise was not overcrowded. The guide was informative and interesting.

This was a nice trip with clean, safe and professional accomodations. However, we did not see any whales so was really disappointed. Whenever these trips promise to see whales there is an even bigger disappointment if none. We saw dolphins and many birds so all was not lost! The Captain was friendly and informative, I would have liked him to speak more on the wildlife as he seemed to know alot and was quite interesting.

It was my first whale watching trip and even though we only caght a glimpse of a southern grey snorkeling the hundreds of dolphins and other animals spotted were a welcome site. I won't hesitate to try anothet ride the next time I'm in town. CJ from Iowa

We had a great time. We were excited to see the whales and even though we saw 2 different type of dolphins (which the captain did a great job of explaining) and sea lions, we unfortunately were unable to see whales. I do give credit to the captain for going out further to find them.

This was something we've never done before so it was really exciting. Being up close to the dolphins was amazing and something that my family and i will never forget. thanks to the captain and crew for a smooth boat ride and all the information about the area and animals. will definitely be back again!!

My husband and I took the 2 o'clock excursion to look for whales and dolphins. The view from the boat was phenomenal. The boat crew was very good at giving us information about the dolphins and the whales. We only saw a few whales but we saw lots of dolphins. We also got some really good pictures. I would recommend bringing binoculars to get the best view of the whales. The boat is very comfortable and a good size.

Trip was exactly as advertised. Short time before we saw dolphins and porpoises. Saw a gray whale that was skiddish but the captain did a great job of staying with him. I would highly recommend this trip.

I always wanted to see a whale and i got my chance. it was an awesome experience!

This was overall a fun trip for our family. We saw tons of dolphins the only disappointing part was with the wale. We saw one wale which was not very active at all and the boat hovered about 200 yards away for the majority of the trip instead of moving on to see if there was anything else around to see. The crew was very friendly and educated just a little disappointed with them just staying with the one wale for most of the trip.

Dana Wharf Sport fishing and Whale Watching is an amazing company to go whale watching with. This was my first experience with whale watching, but the captain was very knowledgeable about the whales, dolphins, and sea lions. The crew were also very knowledgeable and helpful. They let us know what to look for so that we would be able to get the best pictures. It was an incredibly amazing experience and I would and have recommend this company. The fact that they offer a half-price day allowed me to add this when I normally wouldn't have.

Had a great time, crew is very accommodating and knowledgeable. Would have been a great experience even if we had not seen any marine life (but we did) and the crew was very informative as to what we were seeing ,why and also a little marine biology lesson thrown in. I do not hesitate to recommend this trip to any and all. Enjoy!
