| I liked the whole thing. The only thing I would add would be a narration that taught something about the whales. Our captain had quite a lot to say about the dolphins, but very little about the whales. Where were they going, what are their feeding habits, breeding areas, and threats they face. I will definitely go again, probably with a couple of my grandchildren. | ||||||

| We didn't get to see whales, but we saw a pod of dolphins that you won't see in captivity. It was exciting and the ride on the ocean was fun. It's always a blessing to see the creatures that God designed with such perfection! Karen Berdinner | ||||||

| About the time we should have turned back to return to the harbor a whale was spotted! Thank goodness the pilot let us watch the whale for a while. He moved the boat closer and even phoned a marine biologist to check on the whale's behavior. We had a great time. | ||||||

| We loved the whale watching cruise. We saw a huge pod of dolphins. They swam along side the boat for about 10 minutes. Then we saw an 80 foot blue whale. What a sight! The captain was great - gave us tons of educational information. The boat is sparkling clean. Couldn't have been happier. | ||||||

| We enjoyed our 2 1/2-hour trip. We hoped to see a whale but couldn't find one--it apparently is not the prime season for that. However, we saw hundreds of dolphins, which was a new and exciting experience. There was plenty of room on the boat, and on weekends there is a marine biologist on board to assist in identification of species, to provide useful information and to answer questions. You should note that it's not a particularly smooth trip, though the back of the boat is a little smoother. My wife and I have been on a number of catamarans of this size when snorkeling in the Caribbean and have never gotten seasick. My wife was fairly seasick, as were some other passengers, and I was a bit queazy. Nothing a little Dramamine won't cure, so if you're not a veteran on the seas, take it before you go. It will make the trip more enjoyable and will ensure that you won't miss out on anything. Overall, well worth the time and a good value. | ||||||

| Using Zerve to book our fishing trip was easy and convenient. Location and parking was easily accessible. Received great service at check-in. The "Boat Crew" provided outstanding service. Cold beer and awesome cheese burgers, sun shining and catching fish, what more can a guy ask for?! | ||||||

| Our family enjoyed this boat ride very much. It gave us the opportunity to go out on the Pacific Ocean in a relaxing catamaran with someone else in charge at the helm. Although we did not see much of the two whales in the area and no dolphins at all on the day that we went, we still enjoyed the scenic ride even though the windy weather made for a little bumpy ride on the way out. Heading back to shore we got up close to sea lions hanging around on a buoy. | ||||||

| The ride and tour were excellent. We saw a variety of wildlife including sea lions, dolphins and blue whales. The whale watching was the most spectacular I have ever seen. The naturalist giving the tour was also very good and informative. | ||||||

| Met my youngest son, three of this friends at Dana Point went on a 1/2 day boat. Everyone on the boat caught sand, calico bass, short barracuda and one nice halibut. The captain and boat hands were extremely courteous and helpful in assisting the fishermen in retying hooks, removing fish, bagging them, untangling line snags and cleaning the fish. Great 1/2 day boat for all. | ||||||

| We took my wife's sister and three kids who were visiting from Phoenix. They had never seen dolphins in their natural habitat before. We went on a Tuesday and the tickets were half price. This was an outstanding bargain. Although we saw no whales, the dolphins were just awesome. We were able to get up close to these wonderful creatures by leaning over the bow rail of the boat as they rode along with the wake. The catamaran is great, very smooth and stable, the crew is friendly and professional. Everything about experience was first class and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to spend a couple of hours in the Pacific off beautiful Dana Point! We had such a good time my wife took another niece on the trip the following week. | ||||||

The Other Boat Was Better

| I've gone on the whale watching cruise twice before, but I'm wondering if it was with a different company, because it was in a much better boat. All three times were at Dana Harbor. The boat was clean and the crew was really nice, and they did have drinks and snacks on board, but there wasn't enough room to sit, and if you were sitting, the captain was in front, so you couldn't see anything ahead. The other two times I went, the captain was in the back, and there was plenty of seating in the sun and in the shade. I must mention that on all three trips, I never saw any whales, but I have seen plenty of dolphins, and it's great because they come right up to the boat and swim where you can see them only maybe 10 feet away. And there are always lots of oohs and ahhs when they jump and dart around - it's really pretty exciting. | ||||||

| The whale watching adventure was a huge success - we saw dolphins, sea lions, a sun fish and yes, a whale. I especially appreciated the captain's knowledge of the sea life. I will recommend this to my friends. Thank you for such a great time. | ||||||
