Relaxing trip

| Don't forget to take binoculars as it is hard to get close to the whales they keep swimming underwater while feeding so you don't know where they will pop up next. Also you have to be quick with your camera and have a good zoom feature or else pictures won't turn out very good. Don't go below unless you only want to see other peoples rear ends. | ||||||

| Tour was full 2.5 hours, plus, as we saw two blue whales, and several dolphins, the crew went out of their way to treat us to a good show. Thanks. | ||||||

| I found it odd that when reading the daily catchs on line that it shows a great deal of fish being caught, but then on the boat few fish were caught and the captain made a statement that it has really been slow lately! Another statement from the captain made while sitting at the dock was "we are running late this morning" everyone on the boat paid for 5 hours of fishing and we were all cut short. We left late and arrived back on time. To make things worse not very many fish were caught and condition were good. | ||||||

| We didn't see blue whales, but that's really a function of the whales, not of the boat operator. We saw several groups of dolphins. Boat was great and clean, commentary was useful, overall an enjoyable evening. | ||||||

| My adult daughter & I were on a mini vacation & always wanted to go whale watching. This gave us an opportunity to be together and have fun even though we saw no whales. The dolphin pods were saw were beautiful, and the relationship the adults had with their young reminded us of our closeness and love. | ||||||

| This activity was not only the best value for a day trip, but was also the most memorable. We didn't get to see any whales, but the amount of dolphins we encountered was unreal! Our daughters(ages 5 and 8) were so excited. They were able to see the details in the dolphins faces and even named one "Flipper" since it kept doing flips in front of the boat. We LOVED it! | ||||||

| The trip was scheduled out at 1245pm. We actually waited for a family of four AFTER departure! What' up with that? Crowded boat, went to some places where you just catch everyday fish. It was like fishing with a hook and line off the dock in Minnesota; you're guaranteed to catch a bunch but you wouldn't want any of them. I understand we're not "sportfishing" but we expected more. The Sunday special was affordable but I'm glad I didn't pay retail price! | ||||||

| I took my 88 year old father, 84 year old mother, 18 year old daughter, and my sister-in-law. There was something for all to enjoy. The only thing that surprised me was that there was no food service. I was really happy that we bought sandwiches before we boarded. All in all, i would highly recommend the trip. | We were very lucky, the weather was perfect and we saw lots of dolphins and several blue whales. The guide and crew were courteous and were able to put us at the right spot, at the right time for optimal viewing of the whales when they surfaced. The whole experience was wonderful and we highly recommend it. | ||||||

| I took my grandson on the 1/2 day fishing trip, which was the first time either of us had been open water fishing. While neither of us caught any "keepers" during our outing, we had a great time, and we highly recommend the trip. | ||||||

| Our group was in the area (San Clemente State Beach) for a family reunion - There were 14 of our family on the trip - The weather wasn't the greatest (overcast), and the fishing didn't turn out so good (three of our part of the larger group caught five fish between us and they were great when I cooked them the next night!) - And we still had a great time - The view of the California coast was spectacular! - The crew were helpful and professional - I would certainly recommend this activity to anyone interested in deep sea fishing | ||||||

Boat late to leave - Parking problems

| 12:00 boat did not leave untill 1:00 because according to captain customers could not find parking. There seems to be a problem with more spots on the charter boats than parking spots in the sportfishing lot that is supposed to be reserved for fishermen. If they are going to cut the 5 hour trip short to wait on late people to park everbody might just as well of parked in the 4 hour max. spaces and saved room for the late comers in the reserved lot. I have never been to any other function that was delayed for so long waiting on late people. As @ airports the tickets said to be there 45 min. early, being we waited untill 1:00 that means people were looking for parking for 1 hour and 45 minutes, I think not? Do the folks that were on time a favor and give them what they paid for. Fishing and boat crew were OK as soon as we got out of the harbor. | ||||||
