I highly recommend this to anyone who is a novice. The crew helps you with any issues and teaches technique. Caught my first fish!

Had a great time on the Clemente. Great crew. Took good care of us and my 7 year old son. The fishing was slow but the captain kept working to find us the fish. The cook sure knows his way around a grill. Office staff was friendly and efficient. We will definitely will be going back.

The captain did a good job of finding the blue whales and bottle nosed dolphins on our trip. We got close enough to get pictures. Amazing creatures!

We were out of the harbor 15 minutes and saw Blue Whales for the balance of the 2 hours. Just great!

We had a great time, saw lots of whales, got some great photos and leaned a lot. Very cool!!!

We had a group of 13 and most caught something but I did not. Ether way I had fun, the crew was very helpful and and friendly. We will do this again. Thanks Mike Paggen Also the girl that checked us in was awesome and treated us great

Excellent day on the watere when Cory the Captain decided to stop searching for "Dorado,Mahi mahi,dolphin for 90 minutes...It was a great ride but the sea was way to flat to search for kelp patties.....After which we moved closer to shore to catch numerous Calico/Kelp Bass, techinque is much like fishing for yellowtail snapper in the Florida Keys....Rig a sliding egg sinker 1/8 to 1/2 ounce depending on current with a 1 to 1/0 circle hook....Both squid and sardine filets worked well...Place bait as close to kelp as possible as the Calico Bass are extremely territorial and aggressives as the bait drops 4 to 12 feet below the kelp....If using live bait use 3/4 to 1 ounce egg sinker to get the bait quickly to the bottom for halibut and away from birds. Pacific Barracuda, Halibut, a few pelicans, Commorants and losing fish to a pesky sea lion. Birds are definetly a problem when fishing live bait.....Both the mates Chad and Mike are excellent as was the captain in assisting patrons. Other than catching the fish themselves they did everything possible to find fish.......As a bonus the selection of beer was great and I had the best cheeseburger on a fishing boat ever......Fish are fileted on the way in so inner is ready to prepare when you get home or back to your hotel if the chef will cooperate,,,Wish i had taken a full day......As an ex mate of numberous fishing boats in the Florida Keys......These guys get an A++++and I would recommend them highly and hope to be back soon......

but no place to sit for the 5 hour trip other than at the few tables in the food area...good hamburgers on the grill.

Best whale watching in years! 15 minutes out of habor and non stop action for an hour and a half.

The captain and crew worked very hard to help the customers catch fish. I thought they did a great job of helping everyone. The boat caught a good amount of fish for only a half day excursion. would go again.

We stopped only 2 times to fish & caught more birds than fish on 1st stop. Pretty much the same on the 2nd but had to deal with 2 seals also.

Hooked a three foot shark on light takle and havn't had more fun fishing in years.

We were very lucky to see some amazing whales. Weather was amazing, whales were incredible to see up close and personal. Captain and crew were extremely knowledgeable and excited about the whales and what we were all witnessing. A fantastic trip.

We sailed at 10 on the Ocean Adventure. After hearing tales of the 20 whales that had been spotted the previous day we hoped we would be lucky. And lucky we were! After travelling for approximately 30 minutes the action began. Firstly a few juvenile sun fish, followed by a hammer head shark and then the main event. The captain had spotted 2 blue whales and while they submerged he gave a brief introduction to what we were about to see. Once they re-surfaced the engines were stopped and we spent 15 minutes with one of the whales as she circled and went below us. Amazing! We had a quick look at the other whale and then started our return. On our return we saw plenty of dolphins and an adult sun fish. The boat was clean and a perfect size for the amount of people in the group. The crew was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the wildlife. A perfect way to spend a Sunday morning!
