Well worth the time and money

| Nice boat, friendly and accommodating staff. Got to see one Minke whale and some dolphins, including babies. Beautiful weather and spectacular view of coast on trip. Two pointers: 1) Book on weekends because they have a marine biologist on board on weekend trips, and she was very interesting and helpful. 2) Be sure to arrive at the wharf area early because parking gets tight, at least on sunny weekends. There are plenty of places to eat and shop if you need to kill a little time though. | ||||||

| From leaving the dock, to returning our needs were met. The crew was right there for advice, helping to untangle lines and take fish off the hooks. The Capton did all he could by taking us from spot to spot to find fish that would cooperate and bite. The Galley was good, and the food also good. I will be back out when the time allows it for me. I will recommend the trip to anyone wanting a great fishing experience. A great day for the kids also. | ||||||

| We had a really lovely trip! The captain and crew were very friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience fun for everyone. There was lots of excitement when we found a rare pod of Dahl's Porpoises. We also saw a resting grey whale, and around 50 bottlenose dolphins. The dolphins' antics even encouraged the seasick members of our group to get up and watch! All in all, we had a great time and will go again. =) | ||||||

| My husband and I and our group of friends had a great time! We saw 5 whales and a 300 hundred pod of dolphins! What more could you ask for! The catamaran was comfortable, in great shape and the staff was awesome! Will definitly recomend this to all our friends! Who knew this was all in our back yard! Thanks for the great adventure! | A pesar de que no observamos ballenas, el viaje valio la pena. Observamos muchos delfines, algunos leones marinos y focas. Sin embargo hay que decir que tienen mucho por mejorar en el servicio, ya que no parecia que hicieran esfuerzos por ubicar ballenas. Tal parecia que esperaban que alguna se cruzara en su camino, mas que buscarlas. | ||||||

| If you are planning for a boat ride or dolphin/ sea lion watching, then go ahead. Else, forget about this trip. Keep sailing around the island and no efforts made attempts to search for whales. | ||||||

Not so Deep Sea Fishing

| There could be a number of reason why it was like this, (it was just the time of year, last week of March, or that a strom had made the waters cold, we had only half a day, ect.) but the deepest we ever fished in was 66 ft of water. Nothing substantialy large was caught eithe and I think it would be safe to say that most of the people didn't catch anything. The last spot we fished was in 18 ft of water. We road a half an hour down the coast (never more than 900 yds from shore) to our fishing spots. I remember a time when my dad went out deep sea fishing south of Portland where they were fishing in 900 ft of water and bringing in monster fish every cast . Maybe it was ingnorance on my part, but that was what I was hopeing for, not 18 ft of water with little rockfish. Perhaps it would have been better fishing on a longer trip. I don't konw. | ||||||

| It was fantastic. We actually saw a whale playing with dolphins. The whale would roll completely over, flapping it's flippers and the dolphins were jumping over the whale and actually jumping on the belly of the whale. The whale also fluked 4 times. | ||||||

| This was an amazing experience! The crew did an awesome job of pointing out different things for us to see and locating whales. The whales were unfortunately inactive, but the crew put our boat in the middle of a huge pod of dolphins. Amazing! It was inexpensive and I will definitely do it again the next time (and every time) I am there! | ||||||

| We left at eight in the morning and were off in the search of a whale. just when i thought we were ready to head back, we got a report of a whale in the area nearby... sure enough we saw one.. and it BREACHED fully out of the water!!!!!!!! landing with a big splash... and it blew out of its blow hole a few times and did a few tale flips for us... it was happy to see us.. =) great, fun time if you get the chance to go. | ||||||

| Nice boat ride on a nice day. No whales. Boat company gives you a complimentary ticket if no whales are seen. This ticket has no expiration date on it! Good marketing! | ||||||
