Great experience for us non fisherman. The staff was right there to help us when we caught a fish as we had no equipment. It was the deep sea fishing experience I was hoping to have for our family with 3 kids, 10, 15, & 17. Turk's for dinner afterwards was excellent too!

We were both very disapointed that we didn't get to see a Whale on the day (3/12) . They did not offer another trip out or anything. We will not be using this tour boat again.

The crew is very friendly and informative. The boat was nice and not too crowded so we were able to get a good view of all the sealife. It was something that we will keep on our list to take all of our out of town visitors on to see the wildlife of CA.

The fish were biting on this day, the crew were freindly and informed, and it was a very pleasant outting. I had a great time .

Excellent guides and took us to the baleen whale, the large dolphin pod and sea lion sites.

Only saw one whale on the trip but just being out on the boat was just to much fun.

Despite getting sea sick, it was a great trip in all. The boat had plenty of space to move around and left almost right on time. The crew was very helpful with pointing out where the whales were located and made it a point to say it was ok to throw up over the side of the boat. I was afraid to get sick because I didn't want to cause a disturbance but once they said it was ok I felt a lot better. I would recommend whale watching to everyone from this group. But we were lucky to see 4 whales that day.

This is definitely the ebst boat to go on for whale watching. Larry and Mike are great and they also have a bar, drinks and food onboard. We had a great time and would recommend to everyone

It ended up being a windy and choppy ride. We didn't see any whales, but we did see a small group of dolphins that swam along side the boat. We could hear them squealing to each other because they were so close. but, because we only saw a handful of dolphins during the 2-hr ride, our entire boat got our tickets back to return free-of-charge for another ride. People running the boat-ride were very nice, Will definitely go back.

Our 3-generation group (Father, Mother, 2 Daughters and 1 granddaughter) had a terrific time on our whale watching trip on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009. The weather was perfect, with warm, sunny sky, very light breeze and light, glassy seas. The boat was nice and roomy, and certainly didn't feel crowded with around 29 pasengers and crew of 4. All of the crew were very friendly and helpful. The marine biologist on board, Morgan Ritchie, and her assistant were very knowledgeable and added a lot to the trip. We even bought one of Morgan's excellent photos on the way in. We saw three different blue whales, which are awesome creatures. We also saw a mola mola (ocean sunfish) near the boat and a large marlin that jumped clear out of the water several times, though it was too far away to photograph. And, of course, we saw common dolphins - hundreds of them! Many of the dolphins were accompanied by their young ones, as they swam right next to the boat and jumped around in large areas near the boat. Almost everywhere we looked, there were dolphins. My old digital camera was way too slow on the shutter speed to get the really good shots of the whales venting upon surfacing or having their tails high in the air as they started deep dives, but my daughter got some really great photos. All-in-all, it was a wonderful trip, and I highly recommend it. We'll be back for grey whale season.

My family and I were visiting from Texas. This was an awesome trip, we actually saw some gray whales. We saw lots of common porpoise and some sea lions. We also got a beautiful view of the coast. The water was so blue. I would recommend this to anyone who might be interested. The crew was very knowledgable as to the location of the wildlife and gave us a great cruise and a wonderful family memory. Thanks!

A glorious day, did not matter that we saw whales. A nice surprise that we were given a rain check because no whales were spotted. Just the boat ride, view of the coast, the fresh air, and hints of Catalina made it all worth while.
