	I cannot believe how many dolphins and whales we saw. It was beyond anything I was expecting. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. There was definitely some luck involved but I recommend it regardless. You will not regret.

	We observed a group of three finback whales for a longer while. The captain made sure that everybody had a good view. He was very knowledgeable and provided information about the whales and other marine life we encountered on the journey (dolphins, sea lions).

	Well organized whale watching cruise with enthusiastic staff who is eager to find whales and did! It was amazing to see the whales so close to the boat! The crew patiently and respectfully followed the whales who seemed not stressed by our appearance. I hope that the latter is always the case.

	Plenty of ocean life action. We got to follow a gray whale for quite awhile, then saw lots of dolphin and sea lions all around the boat. The whale didn't get very close to the boat, but it was still great.

	The boat was great and we saw a whale, some seals, and some dolphins, so really got all we wanted out of it. The main complaint was the crowd which was full of rude people (no fault of the tour) and the galley had a football game on full blast in surround, which didn't lend itself to the experience at all. The crew is great and knowledgeable. Overall, definitely recommended.

	i was hoping to catch more fish on this trip. this being my first time for this trip, i realize that my inexperience may have had some part in my lack of great success. also, i know that there was limited time with only a five hour trip time . i really believe that those who frequent the ocean in boats probably know where to go for better success. i have an idea that our trip may have been made more successful with a bit more dedication to providing a successful fishing trip. not only i, but most others no board were only marginally succesful on this trip. i did have a nice trip, without rough waters, and the scenery along the coastline is a positive aspect . my daughter and son-in-law seemed to enjoy the trip. the crew seemed adequately trained and we were kept informed of the overall entent of the captain's course of action, when and where to drop our lines and the depth we were fishing. also helpful was the fact that the crew on board knwe the fish species and the regulations. i have limited knowledge regarding the local fish species, what is good to keep ( not that that affected my catch ) and the size limits for the lower ca. oceanic waters .

	THIS IS HOW I FELT AT THE FRONT OF THE DANA PRIDE DURING OUR WHALE WATCHING TOUR. THE BOAT RIDE ALONE IS AN ADVENTURE IN ITSELF, BUT ENCOUNTERING A POD OF DOLPHINS OR SIGHTING A WHALE IS NOTHING SHORT OF BREATHTAKING. AN EXPERIENCE SECOND TO NONE. THE STAFF AND CREW ARE POLITE AND HELPFUL AND ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN DESCRIBING THE DIFFERENT SPECIES AND THEIR CHARACTERISTICS AND HISTORY. THIS TOUR IS ONE OF LIFES GREATEST EXPERIENCES THAT BRINGS US BACK TIME AND TIME AGAIN. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR/ADVENTURE FOR I AM CERTAIN YOU WILL ENJOY THIS AS MUCH AS WE HAVE. THANK YOU!. 	The weather was a bit overcast with intermittent sunshine. We left the wharf on time and headed out to "sea." Shortly, the narrator spotted dolphins that swam along with the boat - underneath to the other side, right along and out in front. There were "oohs" and "aahs" watching these wondeful creatures. After a while, we headed to a marker and saw "resident" sea lions baksing ini the sun. Then way off a bit north, there was a spray and it was a gray whale. We followed it for some time watching as it came to the surface and then disappeared only to come up a while further on its path south. We were able to get good pictures, too. We had an 11 and a 10 year old [boys] with us and they had a great time, too.

	The cruise was enjoyable; it was nice to see the California coast from the ocean. As we got on the boat, I overheard one of the staff members mention that they had only seen one whale this season. (I don't know when their 'season' starts.) Of course, they have no control over whether they will see any animals, but it's probably good for people to book the cruise and just relax and enjoy the ride with little expectation of seeing anything. We saw a number of sea lions, but no whales or dolphins. Wear warm clothing!! Enjoy!
