| We did not encounter any dolphins until c 15 minutes from the end of the trip, but when they arrived this was worth while. As we were heading back to the harbor we encoutnered a gray whale in the disctance, but didn't have the time to follow as time was up. Overall a good trip. | ||||||

| Loved this trip, website was very nice to use for booking, boat left on time and was very stable and comfortable on the water. Staff was diligent in maximizing the experience and very knowledgable about the marine life. They were really very pleasant and we would recommend the trip and take another one ourselves. | Each member in my party thoroughly enjoyed themselves on our trip, even though the weather was very cold outside. We were able to see a grey whale, a pod of dolphins, and some sea lions - it was great! We would definitely take this trip again in the future! | ||||||

| don't purchase the ticket unless you're absolutely sure that you will make it on the boat. their ridiculous no refund/no exchange/no reschedule policy is completely unreasonable. my date and i purchased tickets and as we arrived at dana point she began to not feel well. even so, we could not even get a refund...we didn't even go on the boat!! | ||||||

| What a nice 'value' experience, the boat hands were decent, the guy working the grill on-board 'yes' grill (really decent food) was friendly, and congenial. The captain, knew what he was talking about with regards to whales but didn't talk too much....all in all well worth the $29 per person. | ||||||

| I had to remind myself it was the off season, not a lot of fish were caught. The water was cold and it was the day after a rain storm. However, the crew was friendly and helpful, the boat wasn't crowded and it was a beautiful day, so why complain. I would suggest the crew place the bait knife out of the reach of children as 4 kids that had been "dumped" by mom were playing with everything in sight. | ||||||

| Just saw 3 sea lions and 3 dolphins and was unfortunate not to see any whale. Ride was a little bumpy during that time so we felt a little nausea. Was given whale check to go back some other time.....but to travel all the way back there from LA is quite far and thinking that there is another big chance not to see a whale makes us not want to go back. I just found that there is another one at Long Beach with same price and recommend it if you're closer to that area. | ||||||

| I've been on other whale watching cruises and saw only dolphins and sea lions. This cruise was great as two whales were sighted and surfaced several times. I would recommend anyone wishing to take pictures to have a high speed camera as you will have only seconds to point and shoot. The other option is to have a camcorder where you can catch the whale as it surfaces and clip photos from there. An overall GREAT trip! | ||||||

| Enjoyed the trip tremendously. While rain threatened and it was chilly,the experience was great. It was the first Whale Watch for my wife and she really enjoyed it. The boat was clean, the crew was very courteous and knowledgeable. They made the effort to make sure that if Whales were to be found that we would get to see them. Nice Job! Definitely a return trip in the future. | ||||||

| We appreciated the Tuesday half-price tickets, the on-time departure and return, the enthusiastic welcome, the many dolphins and the lone whale we saw. It was a beautiful sunny day and it was a stable boat with a happy crowd. We didn't eat on board, but others seemed to like their food. Would recommend this to all ages. | ||||||

| Crew and Captain was great and helpful. Ended up fishing 3 or 4 different spots with only a few fish catching live mackeral on cut squid. Pelican's were a pest! Weather and water was perfect conditions, but fish were not biting. If I visit the area again (from N. Cali) I will definetely use this charter again. Thanks Anthony | ||||||
