AN Unforgettable Experience
Sat, Mar 14  2:00 PM RBMachine Female 50-59 Local Family With Children
Seeing the whales was indescribably stirring. The catamaran crew were great; marine biologist on board very informative and made the experience much more meaningful. Logistics couldn't have been easier or smoother. We had a fantastic time and are looking forward to going again.

Great!

We had a very good experience on our whale watching trip. We saw a pair whales that the boat tracked for about 45 minutes. We also saw a few dolphins and sea lions. The captain was knowledgeable and did a good job at following the whales so we got to see them spout several times. I definitely want to go back out again during blue whale season!

ok experience

The crew was friendly and helpful. However, we weren't brought to the best fishing sites. Many people on the boat did not reel in any fish, and those who did catch a few most often had to throw them back because they were too small.

We enjoyed our whale watching trip. the crew was very helpful and did a great job showing off the whales and dolphins. We saw four whales and several dolphins in all. My kids left the boat with great big smiles at seeing something that we had never seen before.

The Captain kept us on the fish, with the right bait and the right instruction to catch the most fish. A Great experience.

Strategic boat position to facilitate whale watchg
Sat, Mar 7  12:00 PM RandStolp Female 60-69 Local Group of Friends
The crew members presented a very informative dialogue on whale history. The captain always had a good view of the whales as the boat was always pointed toward whale location. Guests gravitated to side where whales were sighted. It was not always possible for all guests to have a look at the whales. If the boat had been strategically positioned, everyone could have had a better view.

Nice sunset cruise
Mon, Oct 5  5:00 PM ranchforeman Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
Saw sea lions. Did not see anything else. gorgeous sunset view. Would maybe go earlier as we were cold. Web site said that if we did not get to see dolphins or whales, would get a $10 coupon for next trip. We were not offered that. Could tell the guys tried really hard to spot something. They said the whales were not seen in this area yet so wondered why this was advertised as a whale watching adventure. Felt somewhat misled on that. Overall good we went, saw the beautiful coastline and the sunset.

Too Crowded on Tuesdays

The price was great. The fishing wasn't good on the day I went. I only caught two tiny Sculpin. The boat was way too crowded. I would not suggest going on 1/2 price Tuesdays.

A wonderful experience. Highly Recommended

We were very lucky, the weather was perfect and we saw lots of dolphins and several blue whales. The guide and crew were courteous and were able to put us at the right spot, at the right time for optimal viewing of the whales when they surfaced. The whole experience was wonderful and we highly recommend it.

Well worth an afternoon
Sat, Aug 8  3:30 PM rabltd Male 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
We enjoyed our 2 1/2-hour trip. We hoped to see a whale but couldn't find one--it apparently is not the prime season for that. However, we saw hundreds of dolphins, which was a new and exciting experience. There was plenty of room on the boat, and on weekends there is a marine biologist on board to assist in identification of species, to provide useful information and to answer questions. You should note that it's not a particularly smooth trip, though the back of the boat is a little smoother. My wife and I have been on a number of catamarans of this size when snorkeling in the Caribbean and have never gotten seasick. My wife was fairly seasick, as were some other passengers, and I was a bit queazy. Nothing a little Dramamine won't cure, so if you're not a veteran on the seas, take it before you go. It will make the trip more enjoyable and will ensure that you won't miss out on anything. Overall, well worth the time and a good value.

Beautiful!
Tue, Mar 17  2:00 PM pyavorsky Female 50-59 Local Family With Children
My husband and I grew up in San Diego and have lived the last 10 years in this area. Neither of us has ever gone on a whale watching event. We wanted to do something interesting to celebrate our daughter's 17th birthday that was outdoors and camera friendly. We had the most amazing day from the weather to the two whales to the thousand dolphin. The crew was extremely professional and personable at all times looking out for the best experience possible for their clients. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience. We will definitely repeat this event and be a tourist more often. Thank you so much for the beautiful day.

Call it a dolphin-watching cruise; then, people won't feel let down when there are no whales and excited when there are.

Great Ride for Sunset Viewing and Whales!
Sun, Nov 16, 08   3:30 PM punkaag Female 20-29 Domestic Tourist(s) Couple on a Date
The boat ride was great. Left the dock promptly, Captain & his mate "Lucky" were very personable, great variety of food and snacks on board (and extremely cost effective). Was smooth ride, able to see all the coastal hills and watch a beautiful sunset. Captain was constantly looking for sealife we could appreciate. Saw sea lions AND about 3 Minke whales. Awesome! Trip was a solid 2+ hours. Well worth the price! Definitely recommended! thank you! CH & BG, Long Island, NY
