| This was my second time and it was just as wonderful as the first time! Dan was there again and he took great care of us. The rest of the guys were always around and were very helpful. The only sucky part is the newbies who got tangled up with us constantly......aarrgh! Highly recommend the 6:30 am boat as opposed to later in the day! | ||||||

| Cruising up Dana Point and Laguna Beach to track a wonder of nature, a Blue Whale in all its magnificent "gentle" glory, was just spectacular. A few dolphins raced along side of the catamaran as the captain brought us about as close as you can get to the biggest creature in the history of the world... | ||||||

| If your looking for some fun that's under $100 per person. This is a great event. I had never been ocean fishing and wanted to try it, my frieands also. We had a great time caught a couple of fish, tried something new. The people and crew were wonderful. The boat was full, but still comfortable space for every one. I would not take my ACTIVE 12yr old on this adventure she would be bored. I'll do this again. Hopefully on a long run next time. | ||||||

| the crew was nice and my whole group had a great time with all of us catching plenty of fish... we would def. do this trip again soon. Moved around to a few different spots and the captain made up for it by extending the time out there with no pressure on time.... great day on the water. | ||||||

| What a fantastic time we had! I was a little nervous to go after I read some reviews but let me tell you, it was awesome! The staff (especially Dan) was attentive and always around. The fish were biting and I think everyone caught something. The food smelled delicious and the beer was ice cold. The weather was perfect and I couldn't be more impressed. In fact, we're going again on Sunday!! | ||||||

| The 1/2 day fishing trip is in my opinion is the best way to spend an afternoon. Myself and my group of friends plan on making it a once a week thing if possible. The crew is awesome and the burgers are even better. I will recommend this to all my friends. | ||||||

| All in all it was a good trip. The deck hands were good and the captain was enthusiastic. One of the things I would recommend would be to have the boat loaded with bait before patrons get on the boat. I was told the boat left at 6:30am and we didn't really leave until about 7am. Then we spent another 15 minutes plus to load the boat with bait. I just think people prefer the time fishing rather than watching the bait get loaded onto the boat. But all in all a good trip. | Although I've lived in Dana Point most of my life, I had never gone fishing before. Since we had some friends in from out of town, we thought it might be fun to go fishing. Positive: - Alcohol and food served in the galley - Clean boat - Boat goes to where the fish are biting - Fun times with so many people on the boat (lots going on) Negative: -Absolutely NO instruction for first timers -Lots of people on the boat (100) -Can't sit while fishing -1st 40 mins of trip is spent getting bait -Hard to maneuver around boat - especially with so many people on boat | ||||||

| We saw an amazing pod of killer whales on the voyage! The crew was so excited and truly related this excitement to the whale watchers. We "played" with the whales for over an hour. We also saw sea lions, dolphins, and a large yellow sun fish. The boat was large, clean and had plenty of seating or standing room for all. The rate for this activity is bargain basement low! Don't be fooled by the reasonable rates- this whale watching voyage could prove to be the adventure of a lifetime! I would reccomend this for familes with small children, business groups and seniors. Very landlubber friendly! Thanks to Capt. Tom and his crew! | ||||||
