| If you are planning for a boat ride or dolphin/ sea lion watching, then go ahead. Else, forget about this trip. Keep sailing around the island and no efforts made attempts to search for whales. | ||||||

| Wish the trip was longer than 2 hours! Had a great time and saw 2 whales. Would love to go on a longer trip the next time and hope to see dolphins as well. | ||||||

| This was supposed to be the highlight of my California vacation. I had convinced the other members of my party that this was a "must do" and that we would see the things we'd viewed on the Nature channel with our very own eyes. I read so many positive reviews from people who had posted them just the week before, and was sure that we'd have a similar experience. I know that nature can be unpredictable, but all of the posts from the previous week insisted that we'd see hundreds of dolphins and I had no reason to think that we wouldn't have the same experience. The few negative posts I read were related to fishing, so I was sure we'd see plenty of dolphins and if we were lucky, a whale or two. We saw NOTHING!!!! We sailed for two hours and saw absolutely nothing! I was so totally disappointed. Their "no refund" policy guarantees that if you don't see dolphins or whales, you can sale again for free. I live in Maryland and probably won't be making this trip again, so it is little consolation and the guarantee is worthless. If you still choose to go, be aware that they cannot guarantee any sightings. Thankfully it didn't cost a lot. I'm just glad that we didn't purchase the four hour cruise. | ||||||

| A very nice clean boat, with friendly people working. Best part they tried and succeeded to find whales and we were able to get close to 2 blue whales! Great deal for the price. | ||||||

| Is there anyway that we can park first at the designated parking lot then came into the tackle shop to get the actual parking permit then return to the car with the displayed parking permit? | ||||||

| Great staff, very educated and friendly. Didnt see any whales, probably because of the time of year but saw lots of dolphins. Didnt matter because we had a blast! wanted to do it again the next day! Highly reccomend. | ||||||

| We had a great trip. No whales on our tour but we saw many, many dolphin and sea lions. It was a fun trip and one we would definitely do again and maybe next time we would see the whales. They saw them on several tours the day before so we were just not as lucky. It's worth taking the chance and hoping to see them because it was so much fun just seeing the other sea life. | ||||||

| we did the two hour trip and if you have nice weather like we did this is a phantastic activity. The only reason I didn't give 5***** is because we didn't get to see a whale but that's just nature. In return we got to see lots and lots of dolphins up close. We went on the boat not the cat and the guy below making the burgers and drinks totally rocks. If you're lucky enough to actually see a whale this will make one of the greatest days of your life! | ||||||

| Upon arrival to the dock and fishing office the clerk was someone unhelpful. he seems unintrested in helping us. i bought tickets online and had "will-call" so i didnt recieve my tickets until the last min. he also said that they might not leave that day because there might not be enough people on board to go fish. they needed a minimun of 10 people. we only had 8 but ended up leaving anyways. On the boat was a different story. the deck-hand guys were very helpful and the captain was very nice. even though the fish werent biting as we wanted them to, it was a slow fishing day. it was our first time going deep sea fishing and an ok experience but i wish these guys would be a little more helpful in giving us a heads up on what to expect. | ||||||

| I've been on other whale watching cruises and saw only dolphins and sea lions. This cruise was great as two whales were sighted and surfaced several times. I would recommend anyone wishing to take pictures to have a high speed camera as you will have only seconds to point and shoot. The other option is to have a camcorder where you can catch the whale as it surfaces and clip photos from there. An overall GREAT trip! | ||||||

| Hardly any of the fish brought on board were big enough to keep. The fish that were kept were small and not what any of us would have expected from an ocean fishing experience. Crew was less than helpful. The only positive thing I can say about the whole trip was the great cheesburgers..... I would deffinetly not recommend this trip to anyone!!!!!! | ||||||

| I was excited about going out to view any type of whales and unfortunately not one whale to be seen. The captain said he was sorry and the whales must have been in Mexico and haven't made the trip back. What we did see was dolphines in herds swimming very fast and came very close to the boat. But that was it. I was disappointed because I've been wanting to do this a for a very long time. The captain said he would give us our tickets back if we didn't see any whales, but that didn't happen. Penny Douglas | ||||||
