| Took both my sons with me and it was a good father son event. There were other father daughters on the boat and they equally had a good time. Dress warm for mornings. I plan on bringing my wife for a more unique date soon. | ||||||

| We had a GREAT time!!! I've been out fishing in Balboa Hated it, everything about it!! The person on the phone, the boat, the crew and I couldn't understand a word that they were saying on the speaker on the boat. The crew was so rude out of Balboa I swore I'd never go back and I did'nt!! Through a friend I started fishing in Marina Del Rey, which I absolutly LOVED!!! However this trip because I was taking other people from work it was too far to go, so someone suggested Dana Point!! From the first person I talked to on the phone to the end of the day was very enjoyable!!! The person at the ticket counter was very friendly and helpful. The crew on board was very helpful and friendly, they came around all the time and helped. I Love being on the boat anyway, so not catching any fish was disapointing, but the Captain and Crew are not at fault. I think the most important things about fishing is to make it fun and enjoyable as possible, and the Captain and Crew did just that!!! They all apologized over and over for not catching any fish, which said a lot, that they really cared!! The Captain talked on the speaker about a lot of things and I could understand him and the Crew (along with the Captain) actually talked to us!! I would go again for sure!! This summer if I can get them together we would like to charter one of your boats for our firm!!! Looks like I have found a new home, I go fishing quite often (usually by myself) and I will definitely be back to visit you again and I wouldn't even bat an eye about going alone!!! Thank You So Much for making our trip so enjoyable. The two other people that I went with had never gone deep sea fishing and on the boat they were both talking about next time. When I arrived at work on Monday they thanked me for inviting them along and they could hardly wait till the next time!!! Good On YOU!!! Please give a special thanks to the Captain and Crew and please tell the kid that got his wisdom teeth removed that I hope he's feeling better!!! Thank you again so very, very much!!! | Whale watching is a great activity for people of any age. While we were out we saw 2 whales & watched for at least 20 minutes, plus saw a few dolphins and lots of California Sea Lions. The boat crew was very knowledgeable and helpful in pointing out the wildlife and telling a bit about them. They were very friendly from the first greeting to inviting us to come back again when we left. I will definitely go whale watching at Dana Wharf again. | ||||||

| This was the first time I have ever been whale watching and it was spectacular! It was breathtaking! It was so beautiful! I couldnt believe te number of whales we saw on our trip as well as dolphins. This is a trip I will remember my entire life. | ||||||

| I have always enjoyed your tours, but this time I took some visiting German friends who had a 14 and 16-year old children and we saw 4 whales and numerous dolphins. It was a grand tour and we got some great pictures! | ||||||

| large fishing trawler (30 people ) gets you out on the water for a good five hours of fishing, even though the catch at this time of year is not very good. Well worth the value. | ||||||

Hundreds Dolphins, no whales

| We took the 10:00 am group on 3/23, it was a sunny day but no whales were spotted. I read the review and heard that the crew was funny. I personally didn’t think they were that fun. They didn’t give us much of a briefing as to what we would see for the trip. The boat and ppl on it were quiet for the first hour, and the captain kept searching for the whales. I hoped that he could give us some introduction in the beginning. After around an hour and a half later, we saw a lot of common dolphins. Hundreds of them were swimming next to the boat. The captain did a good job of explaining the dolphins, and overall it was a pleasant experience. I will consider coming back in October, and hopefully I won’t be disappointed again. I will be looking forward to the Blue Whale then | ||||||

| We did not get to see any whales, just three dolphins. But the company gave us our tickets back and they are now good to be used again. Hopefully we will get to see a little more next time. It was still a nice cruise and the crew is very nice and helpful too. | ||||||

| It was unfortunate that although we had spectacularly blue skies, plus an enthusiastic group of strangers who became friends on board, we saw not one wee bit of the many whales who we heard were traveling through the area. At the very end we saw a small school of playful dolphins who were fun & fast to watch but they were not the gray whales we'd been hoping to see. It was particularly upsetting that the people on the 12 noon cruise had seen whales and we had not AND that there was no offer of a ticket for another day, because, if you see at least dolphins, although this is a whale watching cruise, then it counts as having seen "something". It was nice to be outside on the water, but it was not what we paid for. | ||||||

| We love the whale watching experience and try to book a sea venture out at least once a month during the whale watching season. This last trip I was lucky enough to get a wonderful whale-tail shot and numerous shots of dancing dolphins. It was magnificient! | ||||||

| It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely do it again. We were able to see over 3000 dolphins in a pod and a Finchback whale. That was the highlight of my trip because I never saw a whale in the wild before! We went during the 1/2 price days on Tuesday at 12pm. | ||||||

| We had such a great time! The whole crew was friendly, knowledgeable and enjoyable. We had a pod of dolphins.......around 5,000 of them, following our boat, they were incredibly playful surfing on the wake from our boat, and then we saw a 70-80 ft. whale. We highly recommend this Whale Cruise! | ||||||
