| We went out on a 1/2 day boat for my son's 10th birthday. There were 8 altogehter with two 10 year olds. The day was great. Beautiful weather. The captain announced my son's birthday on the loud speaker and everyone cheered. He got such a kick out of that. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast burrito from the gally was big and tasty! We didnt catch a great deal of fish, but we enjoyed the day very much and would go out with them again. Overall a fun day and a good experience. | ||||||

| A nice way to spend a couple hours with friends or family but it should be named "Dolphin Watching Tour." I have taken this trip 3 times in the last couple of years (in March) and have yet to see any whales. Although we have not seen any whales, at least we have seen dolphins every time - it was fun to see them. Can't expect to see whales every time but so far it has been 0 for 3. | ||||||

| We left at eight in the morning and were off in the search of a whale. just when i thought we were ready to head back, we got a report of a whale in the area nearby... sure enough we saw one.. and it BREACHED fully out of the water!!!!!!!! landing with a big splash... and it blew out of its blow hole a few times and did a few tale flips for us... it was happy to see us.. =) great, fun time if you get the chance to go. | ||||||

| My wife and daughter went on this tour and honestly didn't think they would see a whale, but surprise they did. They also saw dolphins and sea lions the tour was extended because the whale was spotted on the way back in. Nice to see them not being clock watchers! The space and comfort were worth spending the extra money to go on the smaller group boat. | ||||||

| Wow this was a 1/2 day I will never get back. If you are thinking about deep sea fishing I would look elsewhere. This is basically bait fishing with 40+ people crammed together on a boat standing for 4 hours. It is cheap but you get what you pay for. They give you rods/reels that can handle 20 pound fish but the largest our group caught was 20 inches. I catch trout bigger than that on 4lb test! Just don't go out thinking you are going to catch big ocean fish we caught nothing but sand bass and most of them were in the 10-15 inch range not what I expected from the ocean. | ||||||

| It was a hot and fun day onthe boat and my kids had a good time being onthe boat . The sad side was the fishing was not great at all we only cought 1 fish on the trip , which dissapointed my kids and from going on again . so it's good to check the fish reports before you go , to see if the fish are biting . | ||||||

| Two hours was 1 hr too long because it was cloudy, foggy and freezing cold, (even though I brought 2 blankets). My teenagers couldn't wait to go back because it was so cold & windy. We did see few dolphins and seals. I would recommend this trip to my friends only during the summer or spring. We got some coupons toward our next trip at the end of the tour which was nice. | ||||||

| Enjoyed the trip tremendously. While rain threatened and it was chilly,the experience was great. It was the first Whale Watch for my wife and she really enjoyed it. The boat was clean, the crew was very courteous and knowledgeable. They made the effort to make sure that if Whales were to be found that we would get to see them. Nice Job! Definitely a return trip in the future. | ||||||

| We had such a great time! The whole crew was friendly, knowledgeable and enjoyable. We had a pod of dolphins.......around 5,000 of them, following our boat, they were incredibly playful surfing on the wake from our boat, and then we saw a 70-80 ft. whale. We highly recommend this Whale Cruise! | ||||||

| We followed two blue whales for 2 hours and got closer than what I'd ever thought I'd be to one of those beautiful creatures! Love the fact that they limit the amount of people on the boat and it was a nice smooth ride. Highly recommended. | ||||||

| It took a while for the boat to get out to where we could see whales. The kids that i had with me age 3 and two aged 8 had gotten really bored with waiting as we didnt see any whales until the tour was almost over. Be sure to bring snacks and water, if not they are sold inside the cabin on the boat. which by the way you cannot see whales through because people crowd in front of the windows on the deck when a whale is seen. Bring a sweater and a jacket. There is a big temperature difference the farther you go out into the ocean especially if there is a breeze. I recommend this trip if you have the patience and older children. | ||||||

| My eleven-year-old son has wanted to fish in the ocean for a long time. This trip provided us with a great experience for his first time. He was able to pull in a few fish and he was also around more experienced anglers who generously shared their knowledge. The crew kept up pretty well with all of the group. I would have liked a bit more help for my son, as I have never fished in the ocean and was not much help to him. However, he learned, he fished and he found it to be the highlight of our trip to California. | ||||||

| Everyone on board caught very little fish. I think this was partially due to the fact that the bait fish were too large. Although the crew was great and did their best to help us catch fish, I think on a planning level the trip could have been handled better. For example we could have gone to a better fishing ground, or gotten proper bait for the places we went. | ||||||
