| Everyone on board caught very little fish. I think this was partially due to the fact that the bait fish were too large. Although the crew was great and did their best to help us catch fish, I think on a planning level the trip could have been handled better. For example we could have gone to a better fishing ground, or gotten proper bait for the places we went. | ||||||

| Maybe it was just a lucky day for us, but within a half-hour of leaving the dock we happened upon two blue whales and followed them around for the better part of two hours as they dived and re-surfaced. The Captain did an excellent job of tracking them. On our way back to port we took a loop through a school of dolphins who raced along with the boat, jumping out of the water as they swam along. It was quite a thrill. | ||||||

| This was my 10 yr old son's first time fishing.....and I have VERY LITTLE experience so, I was concerned. But EVERYONE was very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable! Even other fisherman checked on us to see how we were doing. Great people, Great Fun...and my son caught SEVERAL FISH....including one keeper. We WILL be back. | ||||||

Blue whales a magnificent sight

| We had a great time on what seemed to be a brand new boat and, most important, got to see two blue whales and a fin whale. The captain had wasted no time taking us out to the area the blues were frequenting as this was the creature we all wanted to see. It was an unforgettable experience, seeing the world's largest living creatures | ||||||

| This was the best whale watching trip I had ever been on. We saw 2 whales within the first half hour. We played with hundreds of dolphins. The crew was helpful and professional. What made this trip so outstanding was having Morgan, a naturalist on board. She answered all of our questions and gave us so much useful information that we all actually had a much better understanding of what we were seeing in the ocean. | ||||||

| The whale watching was more that we hoped for! It was a beautiful calm day and we saw hundreds of Dolphins and six whales. We were able to watch both for 45 min. plus. The captain seemed very knowledgeable and overall it was a great experience. My only complaint is the boat was pretty crowded and my small children had difficulty seeing the whales because of needing to be lifted up above the many people. So get in line early and head for the bow of the boat! | ||||||

| Original trip cut short due to weather, But worth the charge, a whale check was given and used the next day, and the trip was Fantastic, professional fun Crew PS- The Staff at the office is also wonderful. | ||||||

| Wednesday, March 25th, 4pm cruise Didn't look good when we left port last Wednesday...but we ran into a HUGE pod of common dolphins. There were several hundred of them. On our way back to port we saw six grey whales and the ship captain let us stay out later than our designated time so that everyone would have a good chance of getting a picture. THANKS Dana wharf whale watching crew!! | ||||||

| I was a bit disappointed in this fishing trip. We have went fishing several times on the Oregon Coast and have caught big fish one right after the other but California fishing was not too good to us Idahoans. Our kids caught a few small fish but we didn't get to keep any of them and that was such a disappointment because we were ready to fry up some fish. Oh well, maybe next time. | I thought this would be a great Father's Day present for my fiance. My daughter had a great time playing with the live bait and a little fishing. My fiance and I caught some fish and we all enjoyed the weather. | ||||||

| We didn't see any whales for the first hour and fifty minutes. It was a two hour trip and we were headed back to port when our captain heard or spotted one out a little ways. Instead of heading back, which he totally could have, he took us out there to see it. We were so grateful that he decided to do that for us, despite the fact that he would be running behind schedule. My four year old daughter was just floored. It was a wonderful day for us and I would recommend this company to anyone. And we are planning the same trip next year, and probably many more years to come. | ||||||
