| Dana Wharf Sportfishing is a great landing for fishing. It's easy to get to, close parking, no long walks on the dock when you are carrying your gear and a great staff. Every person in the shop and on the boat was friendly and helpful. The boat captain worked hard to put us on the fish. I've never had a fishing trip go this smoothly. We completely enjoyed our trip and will be back again real soon. | ||||||

| This was my first time out fishing in the ocean. My son and I had a lot of fun and we caught a few fish. The crew was wonderful and so helpful with getting the fish off the hooks and dealing with tangled lines!!! The service was excellent! | ||||||

| The captain and deckhand were extremely accommodating. It was clear from the moment we started fishing that their main goal was to help us catch as many fish as possible. | ||||||

| 9-21-08: Beautiful day for a fishing trip! Hadn't been out on the ocean all year and was very pleased with this trip. Crew was friendly and helpful, the bite was ok. I remembered the fish counts don't tell you how much you actually catch and release, so the bite was better than fish counts indicated. Caught a wide variety of fish and didn't do any bottom fishing, so I was pleased about that. Just found out about Dana Kids, so next time, will bringing the young 'uns. Would highly recommend Dana Wharf to anyone considering it. | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. We loved having a marine biologist on board to tell us what we were seeing and to answer questions. The captain made every effort to get us to where we were able to see about 30 minutes of blue whale activity even though it meant we would be a little late getting back. It made the cruise that much more enjoyable. The crew was friendly and helpful and the catamaran was clean and comfortable. We had a great time. | ||||||

| We knew this time of year we probably wouldn't be seeing any whales but we were very excited to see the huuge pod of dolphins! It was awesome. The ride was very nice. The captain seemed to know alot about .....well, everything:) He knew a little history and provided us with some info on the sea life. My seven year old was very interested in learning more. I'd definetly like to go again. Maybe during whale season next. | ||||||

| It was a great day at sea! We went on the 5pm trip and saw dolphins and sea lions. We didn't see any blue whales, but the trip was still awesome because it is well worth just the boat ride alone. You can move around the boat at your leisure (we were on the Sum Fun and it was not crowded) and if you stand at the bow you can get splashed with water. I would go back for a gray whale expedition in the winter. I would highly recommend this trip for vacationers and locals alike. We could see Saddleback Mountain. The only area for improvement might be for the Captain and Skipper to give more information on points of interest along the shoreline as the boat heads back to shore. | ||||||

| My boyfriend and I took this trip for his b-day it was a surprise. It was great right from the start. We got in the boat and took a seat. The view was beautiful.... We were lucky to see to whales swimming rite next to each other. This experience is so much different than just seeing animals at Sea World. You get to see the whales in their natural habitat. It's also very relaxing.You have a choice of standing up in the deck looking out to the Ocean or seats in the shade that are very comfertable. We would to go again !!! And the people on the boat were very helpfull and nice as well. Thank You very much | ||||||
