Dolphins Rule!

| We did not see any whales on this excursion, however, we came into a huge pod of dolphins and the excitement was electrifying! We had our 4 year old grandson with us for the day and he squealed with delight at the sights and sounds of the dolphins jumping, swimming, surfing and just playing all around the boat. The captain played along too by making a wake for them to surf in! It was a memorable day! Thanks, Mike and Fran Edeler | ||||||

| We saw four whales during the 2 hour trip, each time we were so excited when we spotted them. Oh, bring your best camera, as I regret I only had my phone camera with me. Still, the photos are great and beautiful. Crew members are very nice and friendly. A galley with snacks and drinks (yes, including alcohol) are very nice features for me, since I got there hungry. When the trip was about over, we saw dolphins in the hundreds, jumping and swimming, which was a great view and brought a lot of excitements as well. The boat was comfortable. I think it well worth the time and $$. | ||||||

| It was a 3-hour whale watching expedition. The captain went out of his way, we thought, to locate pods of dolphins as well as remained attuned to whale sightings. He extended the expedition by half an hour or more after discovering a whale, about the time that we would have headed back to shore, and taking us to it. Kudos! | ||||||

| The weather was gorgeous, the trip was awesome. Unfortunately we did not see the whales, but it was worth to go on the trip anyway. We were blessed to see a big pod of dolphins, a sunfish, and family of seals. Thank you very much for unforgettable experience. Nadia and Michael. | ||||||

| We got so much more than we expected. The crew was outstanding. The catamaran was comfortable and the trip was awesome. We saw about 6 blue whales at close range and it was one of the best experiences ever. We've been talking about it to our friends and family for days. We would definately recommend this activity to everyone we know. | ||||||

| We spend Thanksgiving with family each year in San Clemente. This was the first time we took this 'field trip' and had a blast. We had a group of 20 on the trip. We will now include this in our annual Thanksgiving weekend. Thanks for a great trip! The snack bar was also a plus as we had our newly born grandson with us so he could stay snuggled up inside and my daughter could still enjoy the view outside and not feel cooped up. Your staff was also very helpful and friendly. Thanks again and see you next year. | ||||||

| We've done this a few times and never cease to be amazed at what we see. This past Saturday we saw three grey whales for about 75% of our two hour cruise. Even the times when we have not seen whales we have seen a lot of other wildlife (dolphins, etc) in their natural habitat. Great outing. | ||||||

| We had a wonderful time on the fishing boat. This was our first time on an ocean fishing boat. Everyone we talked to at Dana Wharf were friendly and understanding to our complete lack of knowledge. Unfortunately we dident catch any fish but the kids had a great time and so did my wife and I. Thanks for the good time | ||||||

| It was my 1st time going whale watching so I was looking forward to it. Unfortunately it was horrible! The catamaran was to un-steady it was hard to walk from one place to another specially with a drink in your hand. It was just not worth getting up and trying to get outside. It was just a bad experience one that wasn't worth what it cost. I didn't even get to see a whale which was made it worst, all I know is that I will never go on it again or recommended to anyone. | ||||||

| nice smooth ride. no whales but sea lions and large pod of dolphins swimming and jumping alongside the boat - quite amazing. food and drink also served - good and reasonably priced. | ||||||
