| We had a great time whale watching. We did indeed see whales and some sea lions. We were hoping to see dolphins too, but we did not have that opportunity. The staff at the ticket counter were very friendly and the experience was very positive. I will definitely do this again! | ||||||

| SAW 6 GRAY WHALES AND ONE OF THE COOLEST DISPLAYS OF DOLPHINS PLAYING AND RIDING IN OUR WAKE. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND WOULD DEFINATELY DO IT AGAIN. NOT SURE HOW MANY DOLPHINS BUT I WOULD SAY 100+ | ||||||

| Our family has been on several whale watching adventures through numerous companies. We have been on this one before and after taking other trips, we wanted to come back here. From here on, we will only come here. We never have enjoyed ourselves like we do through this company. Not only did we see 3 whales and 20 dolphins, but we were informed by the staff of these animals as well. Kids can get restless waiting for the whales to come back up but listening to the staff describe the whale made their patience last longer!! There was so much room to walk around and to sit down- not overcrowded like some boats. Also, some boats do not even tell you where the life jackets are!!! This boat and staff did. From the second we got on to the second we got off, no complaints. The boat was awesome, clean, and has great food. To top all this off, when I awoke that morning, I was sick. We called in and spoke with the staff. They said not to worry, to feel better and get there when we could and they would put us on another boat! How often do you find customer service like that????? When we checked in, the gentleman was kind and there was no problems. Everything was easy! From finding it, parking, finding the office and to getting on the boat was so easy! With three kids, that can be difficult. I recommend this to everyone! The kids are begging to go back, and I can not blame them!!!! I am wanting to go back too! | ||||||

| TRIP WAS ON TIME AND WELL ORGANIZED. CREW PLEASANT AND WELL VERSED ON THE WHALES AND OTHER SEA CREATURES. ONLY 2 WHALES IN THE AREA SO WE TOOK OFF AND FOUND A GROUP OF DOLPHIN. SO MUCH FUN SWIMMING AND JUMPING ALL AROUND THE BOAT. IT WAS DEFINITELY THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE TRIP. | ||||||

| This is the second time we tried this trip. Last year we went in April & saw no whales. This time we tried March. We only saw 2 whales & we never got to see much of them out of the water. We saw just their back hump. I don't know why we continued to follow the same two whales instead of going a little further to find more. The trip was only 2 hrs & once the whales go under they don't come back up for a long period of time. It was an absolute worthless trip & definately not worth the money. I love whales, but from this experience my boyfriend will never go whale watching with me again. | ||||||

| We saw a Mega Pod of dolphins and two juevenile grey whales!! We go on a whale watch trip every year. This is the second time on the catamaran, both times we saw whales and dolphins. I will never go back to the "big boat" again. This is well worth it, and to have a naturalist on board who answers questions is so awesome. It's such a more intimate setting and much less of a crowd, so if there is a sighting, EVERYONE can see, there is no fighting to get to the side. The naturalist is there for your convenience, you are not committed to listen in or take part at all, She is just there if you want to ask questions. It really is awesome. Not to mention the crew was so wonderful to us. We had a personal dillema and they were spectacular about it. I just again cannot say enough about this wonderful experience. We will go back every time to this catamaran trip. | ||||||

| We attended the 8:00 a.m. ride. It was amazingly great! We didn't see any whales, but we most certently see our share of dolphins! I highly recommend it to all. | ||||||

| The boat was a bit smaller than expected, and there weren't too many places to sit, which made things a bit difficult with a two year old. It was rocking pretty hard so I was worried our little one might fall over, so I had to stand holding her for 2 hours, which may be why it felt a little long... We did see two whales though, which was awesome. We saw two dolphins as well which came right up to the boat, within just a few feet. We also saw a bunch of seals hanging out on a buoy. Overall it was a fun successful trip. I think it would have been more fun and relaxing without our 2 year old, I would say wait til your kids are 4 or 5 and then bring them, otherwise go without them! Definitely worth trying atleast once! | ||||||

| I would recommend this trip to anyone who can stand for two hours. We saw whales from the beginning, our luck, and our Captain was very knowledgable and we enjoyed his stories. I would not recommend this for people who cannot stand for two hours, as there was no seating per se. Otherwise the trip was good and I would go again. | ||||||

| Part of the activities for the Dana Point Festival of Whales. Did it for my wife's 60th Birthday celebration. Great fun for everyone involved. Did not hear any comments that were negative. Everyone had a great time. Lots of whale sightings, dolphin encounters and sea lion viewing. | ||||||

| My parents were in from Wisconsin visiting us in Carlsbad. My cousin and her husband came down from Huntington Beach. We have 7 and 3 year old daughters. We were looking to do something different so we started looking at tourist type activities. As luck would have it we came across the Whale Festival in Dana Point. The absolute highlight of the day was the Whale watching tour. Incredible crew, great food (and bloody marys!). We could not have had a better time. Seeing the whales was amazing, but the crew definitely made the trip a must do for anyone! Great for families, couples or anyone! | ||||||
