| We all really enjoyed the event the weather was great and the tour guide was quite informative. we did not see any whales but the dolphins were great. The only thing was that the tour is spose to be 2 hours , we departed after 2PM and returned before 4PM, so it was hour and half, instead of two, it could of been little longer. defenatly would recommend to friends and will do it again, if you won't raise the fee and not keep it short. Thank you | ||||||

| We did not see any whales, but the boat trip was well worth every dollar! Did see Sealoins & a huge pod of Dolphins! The crew were great & helpful, they every effort to make the trip worth while. We will return for another trip! We also appreciate the discount on Tuesday/Wednesdays. Thanks for a beautiful day at sea!! | ||||||

| This is ideal for anyone looking to enjoy a short getaway from the mundane weekend (or week day) activities. The boat size is nice, plenty of room, very clean. Back of the boat is prime real estate in my opinion, it's deep bench seating, so you can really stretch out. The only con to that is the chance you take in inhaling the exhaust from the engine. However; good weather conditions, combined with a nice breeze should knock that out. I took the Mother's Day cruise, so the complimentary champagne with snacks were a perk. I don't know if that's customary for all the two hour cruises, it is however on the four hour; or so I've heard. For locals such as myself, it truly makes you appreciate the beauty Southern California has to offer. If you're someone who respects & appreciates natural beauty, or takes pleasure in the splendor ocean life has to offer: This is for you! | ||||||

| My husband & daughter took me on the whale watching cruise as a surprise b'day gift. It truly was a gift I will always remember. We did not get to see any whales that day; however, it was worth the trip just to see the thousands of dolphins we were able to witness in their natural habitat! We found 2 different pods of dolphins & I will never forget the sight of the ocean literally filled with them swimming, jumping & coming up along side the boat! To make the trip even better, it was a beautiful day temp-wise...sunny, clear & warm! Then we saw some sea lions sunning on top of a buoy on the way back in to the harbor. Great day had by all! | ||||||

| From AZ. Had a great time eventhough I got skunked with my 11 year old daughter. Can't figure out why. I was using the same technique as everyone else. Person to left caught 2, person to the right caught 4. My daughter didn't fish much, she had fun playing with the live bait. They caught Barracuda like crazy and a couple of bass. We went on HALF PRICE Tuesday and the boat was organized chaos. About 45 fisherpeople on board. I WILL GO AGAIN but I'll bite the bullet for full price, maybe the boat will be HALF full. | ||||||

| Dana Wharf provides one of the best ocean deep sea fishing experiences consistently year in and out. They are professional, respectful and helpful to all, even the ones that never been out on a boat fishing. Even if I do not catch a fish, it is usually a nice boat ride. | ||||||

| I was very impressed with the dedication the skipper and his assistant had to the group. The assistant stayed on deck with us, and explained the type of animals we may be seeing. The skipper and the assistant kept in close contact with each other to ensure that sightings would happen. We saw 4 blue whales and were able to track them. The assistant told us about the blue whale and answered our questions. Quite frankly I would have been happy just being on the boat, but the crew went the extra mile to ensure that we had the best experience. | ||||||

| We did not get to see any whales, just three dolphins. But the company gave us our tickets back and they are now good to be used again. Hopefully we will get to see a little more next time. It was still a nice cruise and the crew is very nice and helpful too. | ||||||

| kids (5 and 7) loved it. They at least saw one whale (bigger than boat) and several hundred dolphins. Highlight of trip to California. | ||||||

| While we did not see any gray whales, it was still worth the afternoon and money watching the captain and dolphins play. Due to the expertise of the crew, they were able to create circular patterns that provider us bystanders the viewing of dolphins doing acrobats in the wake of the boat. Truly awesome! | ||||||

| We took the 2-hour catamaran whale watching trip and had an amazing time! We saw multiple grey whales, including one that breached fully out of the water, and loads of dolphins (which were even more exciting to watch than the whales because they come so close to the boat). The catamaran is a little more expensive, but worth it due to a smaller passenger load and a marine biologist on board (Morgan). Morgan was a huge asset, as her knowledgeable commentary about what we were seeing was very helpful. One warning: the catamaran does move up and down significantly, even when idling in one place. It is very hard to get good pictures because of this and I actually missed 2 of the 3 breaches while I was messing around with my camara controls. Thank goodness I stopped, because I did witness the 3rd and final breach, which Morgan assured me was a most uncommon occurence. As one passenger said, " You'll always have the memory of what you saw and you can buy a postcard at the wharf taken with a better camara," Finally, while I wasn't seasick, the motion of this smaller boat is pretty noticeable...and it gets chilly on the water. Bring a sweater! Overall, a fantastic experience with a great company. | ||||||
