disappointed that we did not see whales

| We were thrilled with the all the dolphins but disappointed with the fact that we did not see any whales when we went at the height of whale season. | ||||||

| we did the two hour trip and if you have nice weather like we did this is a phantastic activity. The only reason I didn't give 5***** is because we didn't get to see a whale but that's just nature. In return we got to see lots and lots of dolphins up close. We went on the boat not the cat and the guy below making the burgers and drinks totally rocks. If you're lucky enough to actually see a whale this will make one of the greatest days of your life! | ||||||

| We enjoyed the whale watching. The boat was professionally maintained and run. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is that it was too crowded. Very difficult to move around on deck. | ||||||

| It was a clean boat...even the restroom was clean---thank you! The captain gave information on the wildlife we saw, which was great and kept us updated on the plan of action. It's good to be informed and not just drifting and wondering. The cashier in the shop on land was very friendly and the entire process was very organized. I highly recommend this trip! | ||||||

A great whale watching trip

| The weather was great, warm and sunny, but it was late in the season for the southerly migration and not really ready for the return north, so expectation was not high. After only 10 minutes at sea the skipper spotted a grey whale heading south and got us close by, without spooking the whale. It was wonderful to see it close up. We will certainly go again and now we are better informed as to times etc. we will choose a better time to view and probably take a longer trip. Thanks to the operators | ||||||

| One of the nicest features about this trip is the opportunity to view the beautiful area of the South Coast of Orange County. The homes, beaches and views are spectacular. Rivals anything you can see anywhere in the world. I consider the sighting of the whales just "frosting on the cake". The boat is clean and comfortable, the crew very knowledgeable and the ease of finding the wharf, parking and access to the boat were ideal. My only suggestion would be to cover a larger area when whale spotting is slow, and to look for more schools of the various species of dolphins that inhabit the area, as these species are exciting to watch. | ||||||

| This was our first time whalewatching with Dana Wharf. It was a smaller boat than on previous trips and that was a plus. The boat was clean, the crew was friendly and informative. We didn't have to go to far out before we began to follow a whale. On the return trip we spotted 4-5 more. We all had a good time. | ||||||

| This was a 2 hour whale watching trip up toward the Pacific. The first 1hour 1/2 did not see anything but some California Sea Lions. On the way back, it was getting closer to having to get a refund on the ticket if whales was not seen. Captain spotted a whale, but was really hard to see. It was disappointing. (Some air blowing out of blow hole, far away) Incrediable! *Captain said that Grays only come up a few minutes for air after every 5-6 minutes under water. | ||||||

| Unfortunately, on the whale watching trip, there were no whales sighted. It was disappointing but the crew was fantastic. Upbeat attitudes, good knowledge and always checking to make sure the passengers were ok. | ||||||

| THIS WAS MY SECOND TRIP WITH YOU GUY'S, AND I ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH. THE CREW WAS FRIENDLEY, MORGAN WAS VERY INFORMATIVE ABOUT THE SEA LIFE. YOU DO A GREAT JOB. NO WHALES THIS TRIP. BUT, IT'S STILL A GREAT WAY TO SPEND A COUPLE OF HOURS AND BREATH THE SEA AIR. THANKS BOB RAMEY :) | ||||||

| My recent trip with my son for a 1/2 day fishing aboard the Clamente out of Dana Wharf was very pleasant due to the amount of professional and friendly service from the Captain and Crew on board. My son and I will definitely be returning for more fishing. | ||||||

| We didn't see any whales, but we had a very enjoyable time experiencing the ocean and the overcast sky. It was beautiful. We saw dophins and sea lions and seals. My 9 yr old and 15 yr old enjoyed everything. The cook and his assistant really made the trip special. God bless them! | ||||||
