| I thought when I booked the tickets, if we didn't see any whales, we would get a raincheck for another day. We did not see any. I was disappointed, and so was my family from out of town. | ||||||

| Enjoyed the cruise very much. Saw dolphins and 3 whales thanks to the crew taking us out further because of another boats sighting.!!! So it lasted latef but was well worth it!! | ||||||

| I needed an activity for 2 grandsons, ages 11 & 13 and myself; something that didn't entail tramping around in the summer heat. I googled Dana Point not knowing what I might find. The whale watching seemed like a great idea, and so it turned out to be. All 3 of us loved it, and were thrilled at seeing the dolphins, and of course the Blue whale. I'd like to take the trip again, to see if I can improve my camera skills on a fast moving catamaran. A thumbs up on this activity!!! | ||||||

| Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to spend quality time with my older brother. This 1/2 day Dana Wharf experience was perfect and Zerve made it very convenient and seamless, just pick, click, print & go! My brother (as always) kept bragging how he was going to win the jackpot and how he never gets skunked, well a small child with some assistance from the very capable, ever-present deck-hands, landed the jackpot winning halibut. My big brother had to wait until the final hour of our adventure to keep his skunkless streak alive, finally bagging a keeper. My brother and I have decided to make this a monthly event. Those of you reading this, put down the remote, take the game controller away from your children, log onto Dana wharf fishing, find the time and length of day that suits you, book it through Zerve and enjoy each other in a natural setting, I did!!! | ||||||

| My 13 year old daughter and I will cary this experience throughout our lives , it was such an amazing trip , I did it before but that trip was nothing compared to this trip , the captain and the crew were very nice , friendly , educational. very professional , made us feel safe and we enjoyed it very much , we was relax and excited in same time. We've never seen something like it in our lives , 400 to 500 dolphins jumping up and down , cruising a around ,we there with those dolphins for almost one hour then the captain took us looking for whales , we found about 7 of them , GOD blessed us in this trip , even the Captain said, short trip for 2 hours but it was incredible!! | ||||||

| The trip was great, the crew was wonderful. The boat seemed small but maybe it's because it was very crowded. The fishing was good, it could have been great if not for all the line tangles that completely overwhelm the crew. I took my wife and my 11yr old twins and as can probably emagine i spent all of my time untangling them from everyone that got tangled with them. Other them that it was a really good and fun day. | ||||||

| This was a GREAT trip!! We saw 4 whales and got a wonderful photo of a whale. The staff was very knowledgeable and conversant in whale behavior. The guy that was the speaker missed his calling as a Whale docent for Sea World!! I would recommend this trip to anyone and well worth the $29.00!! | ||||||

| There were no whales or dolphins to be seen at the time I chose to go. The good news is, if you don't get to see whale or dolphins you can come back again for FREE. Sealions were spotted and birds of course. The boat has a galley but not much room to sit down. If you are going to go on this whale watching expedition, see if the "Dana Pride" is running. That is a better boat with more seating in my opinion. | ||||||

| Definately one of my favorite activities in Southern California to date. We didn't see any whales but we saw an amazing amount of dolphins which was more than we expected!! | ||||||

| I suggest going on this cruise during the morning hours. We went at 12:00 noon and most of the 2 hours were spent sailing along the sea looking at birds. We did finally spot a grey whale on our way back to shore. It was an awesome sight, as he surfaced several times. We would have liked to see dolphins too, but we didn't. Having gone on a morning cruise in Dana Pt. before, I know the dolphins are more abundant during the morning hours. The nice thing about this cruise line is that if you don't see any dolphins or whales on your cruise, they will issue you a ticket to come again. | ||||||

Fun Trip That Almost Was Cancelled

| We arrived at the fishing boat only to be told that the trip would be cancelled because they didn't have enough people going. We had traveled 45 minutes to get there and were very disappointed. Finally, one other person showed up and the crew said that we were still one person short. My dad then offered to buy one more ticket for $35 so the entire group of 7 people could go - they said they needed 8 to go out. We did end up going but only because my dad bought that extra ticket. That was kind of lame. Everything else was great. The crew was good and helpful. | ||||||

Dolphins galore!

| We didn't see any whales but we saw a pod of dolphins that were very playful and interactive with the boat. It was quite a sight! The ride was very smooth, no one in our party got sea sick :) The crew was very informative and made me feel quite safe. We would take this adventure again someday. | ||||||
